Mail Online Feb 11, 2023<\/h1>\n<p>A Christian nurse was left with &#8216;crippling anxiety&#8217; after she was &#8216;bullied&#8217; by &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/woke-culture\/index.html\"><strong>woke<\/strong><\/a>&#8216; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/nhs\/index.html\"><strong>NHS<\/strong><\/a> chiefs for saying that being white doesn&#8217;t make you racist.<\/p>\n<p>Amy Gallagher, 34, a mental health nurse from\u00a0Orpington, Kent, was on a forensic psychology course training to be a psychotherapist at the Portman clinic, which is part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-9066713\/NHS-clinic-sued-giving-puberty-blockers-children-host-seminar-whiteness.html\"><strong>The Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In an exclusive interview with MailOnline Amy has revealed how NHS bosses caused her &#8216;crippling anxiety&#8217; after she challenged their &#8216;racist&#8217; and &#8216;offensive&#8217; views in lectures she was forced to attend.<\/p>\n<p>Lecturers at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust told her &#8216;whites don&#8217;t understand the world&#8217; and &#8216;Christianity is responsible for racism because it&#8217;s European&#8217; in a series of &#8216;politically biased&#8217; talks.<\/p>\n<p>One of the Tavistock&#8217;s seminars was even called &#8216;Whiteness\u00a0\u2014 a problem for our time&#8217; and included a description on the Trust&#8217;s website that &#8216;the problem of racism is a problem of whiteness&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>When Amy challenged these controversial views she was &#8216;bullied&#8217; by staff and suspended from the course, pending an investigation into whether she is safe to work with patients.<\/p>\n<p>Almost a year later, no investigation has taken place.<\/p>\n<p>It means her dream of becoming a psychotherapist is hanging by a thread.<\/p>\n<p>As if that wasn&#8217;t enough, a course lecturer also tried to get her banned from her day job as a practising mental health nurse.<\/p>\n<p>However, the 34-year-old is fighting back.<\/p>\n<p>Amy is suing the Tavistock for religious and racial discrimination.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a case that may be one of the first trials of wokeness.<\/p>\n<p>However, it&#8217;s not the first time the Tavistock Trust has faced scrutiny.<\/p>\n<p>The same trust\u00a0faced court for giving children puberty-blocking drugs at their Gender Identity Development Service, which is being disbanded after a damning independent review.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about her treatment by\u00a0The Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust Amy told MailOnline:\u00a0&#8216;I never attacked anyone.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I just said we need to have a different viewpoint.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-11730793\/Nurse-suspended-NHS-course-health-chiefs-saying-white-doesnt-make-racist.html?ico=related-replace\">Continues &#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"G1gj4Q8Dp1\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=239819\">Covid is Just the Latest Tavistock Psy Op<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute;
