A Catholic high school student in Canada has been first suspended and then arrested for supporting gender binarism, according to media reports.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sixteen-year-old Josh Alexander was suspended this week from St. Joseph\u2019s Catholic High School in Renfrew, Ontario, for protesting against transgender people’s use of bathrooms and saying that God created only two genders, the Toronto Sun reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The leadership of the school told Alexander that his continued attendance would be “detrimental to the physical and mental well-being” of transgender students.<\/p>\n

\u201cI expressed my religious beliefs in class and it spiraled out of control,\u201d Alexander told The Epoch Times in an interview.<\/p>\n

The teenager tweeted that Ontario police arrested and charged him after he attempted to attend class in violation of an exclusion order following his suspension from the school.<\/p>\n
