Vladimir Putin<\/strong><\/a>‘s nuclear armed navy frigate has staged war games with a ‘hypersonic missile launch’ in the western Atlantic.<\/p>\n The Admiral Gorshkov armed with ‘unstoppable’ Mach 9 Zircon missiles conducted an ‘electronic’ launch at an ‘enemy surface target’ after allegedly\u00a0deviating from its route and sailing towards the US<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Admiral Gorshkov deviated from planned route and sailed West to where its hypersonic missiles could be launched ti successfully strike America’s eastern coast. Click to enlarge<\/p><\/div>\n The exercise, seen on a Russian defence ministry video, involved a drill firing of the deadly weapon, which Putin claims has ‘no equivalent in the world’ at a range of over 560 miles.<\/p>\n Terrifying footage showing the navy preparing for a nuclear launch as the hatch opening in preparation for the deadly missile.<\/p>\n ‘The electronic launch and the work by the shipborne combat team confirmed the missile system’s designed characteristics demonstrated during preliminary and state trials,’ stated the vessel’s captain Igor Krokhmal.<\/p>\n The vessel has been closely monitored by NATO navies on its mission armed with the 6,670mph Mach 9 weapon which has a maximum 625 mile range.<\/p>\n A day earlier reports said that the Gorshkov had made an unexpected diversion in the Atlantic amid Putin’s war with West-backed Ukraine.<\/p>\n Earlier this month, the frigate was escorted through British waters by the Royal Navy, and French and Spanish ships then escorted it through the Atlantic.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Admiral-Gorshkov-deviated-from-planned-route-and-sailed-West.jpg\")
