Lindsey Graham Says Ukraine War Will Only End If Putin Is \u2018Taken Out\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Dave DeCamp \u2013 AntiWar.com Dec 22, 2022<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.huffpost.com\/entry\/lindsey-graham-take-putin-out_n_63a437f2e4b0aae8bcb4c7cc\">repeated a call for Russian President Vladimir Putin to be assassinated<\/a>, saying that the only way the war in Ukraine could end is if Russia \u201cbreaks\u201d and someone \u201ctakes Putin out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow does this war end? When Russia breaks, and they take Putin out. Anything short of that, the war\u2019s gonna continue,\u201d Graham said on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AmericaRpts\/status\/1605649402365767680?s=20&amp;t=ZcMdpEQgPzLVBTcis0a4Mg\">Fox News program America Reports on Wednesday.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Graham said the US is \u201cin it to win it, and the only way you\u2019re gonna win it is to break the Russian military and have somebody in Russia take Putin out to give the Russian people a new lease on life.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Lindsey Graham says the only way the war in Ukraine will end is if Russia &quot;breaks&quot; and someone &quot;takes Putin out&quot; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/M5do9Oj06q\">pic.twitter.com\/M5do9Oj06q<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Dave DeCamp (@DecampDave) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DecampDave\/status\/1606102091906392065?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 23, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The hawkish senator made similar comments\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/news.antiwar.com\/2022\/03\/04\/lindsey-graham-calls-for-russians-to-assassinate-putin\/\">back in March<\/a>\u00a0when he asked if there was a \u201cBrutus\u201d in Russia who could kill Putin.
