The rapid decline of Disney is very instructive and it shows how we are not powerless to effect change.<\/p>\n

Think of how Christians and conservatives could make a difference in Western culture if we stopped spending our money with those who work to denigrate our values \u2014 companies like Target, Netflix, Apple, Google, Amazon, Uber and Lyft, Microsoft, Comcast, AT&T, Levi Strauss, Dick\u2019s, Tractor Supply, the big banks and the rest of the woke companies?<\/p>\n

Basically, if a company cares more about its ESG score than it does about respecting traditional values, then I\u2019m done with them.<\/p>\n

I care less about who\u2019s in office now than I do about who\u2019s getting my money and then using it to destroy my country.<\/p>\n

I know we can\u2019t boycott everyone. But maybe we should do an inventory of where our money is going, and then take the top three or four anti-God, anti-family culprits on our list and boycott them. Start with your bank, then look at where your entertainment dollars are spent, your subscriptions, your favorite clothing retailers and makers, etc. If you look hard enough, these huge companies can almost all be replaced with smaller, more wholesome alternatives. The only ones I\u2019m not sure how to replace are Apple and\/or Microsoft and maybe it\u2019s not possible since they have such a monopoly. Disney is back in the news, this time appearing to eat a small slice of humble pie for leading the charge in the War on Parents.<\/p>\n

How sincere or long-lasting Disney\u2019s new tune will be is anybody\u2019s guess, but let me start by saying something I\u2019ve said many times before:\u00a0 There have always been gay and transgender people.\u00a0 Nobody should hate them or shoot them up in a nightclub.\u00a0 But that doesn\u2019t mean I want them in charge of public policy.\u00a0 I do not want the tail to wag the dog, or for religious liberty to come under assault in a country founded on religious liberty.\u00a0 If the radical communist-inspired gay political agenda upsets you, roll up your sleeves and get to work \u2013 the right way.<\/p>\n

Disney went all out in pursuing its\u00a0self-described<\/a>\u00a0\u201cnot-so-secret gay agenda\u201d and \u201cadding queerness\u201d, in its own words, to children\u2019s programming.\u00a0 Which led me to wonder why any parent of young children would invite Disney into their living room.\u00a0 But this week, returning Disney CEO Bob Iger\u00a0said<\/a>\u00a0it\u2019s \u201cimportant to listen to an audience. It\u2019s important to have respect for the people you are serving.\u201d\u00a0 He suggested the company should refrain from getting so involved in politics.<\/p>\n

You might recall Disney had publicly condemned Florida\u2019s Parental Rights in Education law aimed at preventing the sexualization of young children in public schools.\u00a0 Disney went even further and said it would work to repeal the law.\u00a0 This led to a battle with the state of Florida over the company\u2019s special self-governing status in Orlando.\u00a0 \u201cI was sorry to see us dragged into that battle,\u201d Iger said this week.<\/p>\n

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was not impressed with Iger\u2019s comments.\u00a0 He said the state has no plans to restore Disney\u2019s legal privileges in Orlando.\u00a0 \u201cThey brought this upon themselves,\u201d DeSantis\u00a0said<\/a>. \u201cAll we did was stand up for what was right.\u201d<\/p>\n

You have to wonder if the\u00a0big flop<\/a>\u00a0at the box office of Disney\u2019s \u201cStrange World\u201d \u2013 an animated feature film about a gay teen romance \u2013 had something to do with Iger\u2019s expression of regrets.\u00a0 The film could lose as much as $100 million dollars.\u00a0 The shareholders aren\u2019t gonna like that.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen whether the Magic Kingdom will really listen to them or anybody else.\u00a0 I have my doubts.\u00a0 Disney has been pedal-to-the-medal sexualizing children and pursuing the radical gay agenda in recent months:<\/p>\n
