{"id":256417,"date":"2022-07-23T06:38:56","date_gmt":"2022-07-23T06:38:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=256417"},"modified":"2022-07-24T15:53:32","modified_gmt":"2022-07-24T15:53:32","slug":"shooting-the-messenger-press-tv-correspondent-in-ukraine-put-on-kill-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=256417","title":{"rendered":"Shooting the messenger: Press TV correspondent in Ukraine put on &#8216;kill list\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Press TV \u2013 July 22, 2022<\/strong><\/h1>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ccGObX_iHRg\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&#8212;<\/div>\n<p><strong>Press TV\u00a0correspondent in Ukraine\u00a0Johnny Miller says he has been placed on a \u201ckill list\u201d by Ukrainian ultranationalists following his revelations about Ukrainian atrocities against pro-Russian children and other civilians in the Donbas region.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reporting from the war-torn country on Friday, Miller said that the neo-Nazi group wants him dead following his repeated reports about Ukrainian forces\u2019 violence in the east of the country.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with Press TV, Miller said that he was placed on the kill list after he sent a journalistic inquiry to the website that had published a kill list of hundreds of people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cActually I contacted the website for a statement, which is normal in journalistic standards, but they didn\u2019t reply to my statement\u2026 rather, they put me on the list,\u201d the correspondent said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s clear that some parts of Ukrainian society [are] witnessing some kind of Kafkaesque nightmare, when a journalist does a legitimate story about a kill list and they put him on the same list,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>He warned that most of the people on the list, including a 13-year-old teenager who was interviewed by Miller, \u201chave already been receiving threats of physical violence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no doubt that this list does promote violence, and the killing of anybody on that list,\u201d he noted, adding that there are \u201cover 300 children\u201d on that kill list right now.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"odysee-iframe\" src=\"https:\/\/odysee.com\/$\/embed\/new-full\/21f1a9dc8c0e6154e7dc95628a13a451fde8f089?r=7iL1qspaZSbzjNA7y5e23xm1Sw3RWxBe\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&#8212;<\/div>\n<p>Miller called on international organizations such as the UN to take down this list and said that it\u2019s so shocking that there is no pressure from such organizations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere should be more pressure from western countries to take down this list, [which is] promoting violence against children and journalists through an extremist behavior and ideology.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Ukrainian government has the power to take down this list;
