More than 260,000 US troops could be discharged due to non-compliance with vaccine mandates

The Biden administration’s strict Covid-19 vaccination warrants put more than 13 percent of U.S. fighting forces at risk of dismissal, according to Department of Defense data updated Wednesday.

The Pentagon website reports 268,858 “partially vaccinated“Individuals in the army, marines, navy and air force, plus another 50,710 civilian employees. However, the figures do not include service members who have not had any vaccinations, which means that the real number endangered by the vaccine mandates of the administration could be significantly higher.

While unshielded soldiers whose claims for medical and religious exemptions are pending are allegedly exempt from the requirement, Navy reservist Mike Berry told Breitbart that religious exemptions have only been granted to individuals already out of the military.

According to statistics cited by Breitbart, some 6,400 service members have already been expelled for refusing to shoot, with the majority being Marines. This is despite the fact that a court order prevented the Navy from dismissing any sailor seeking religious exemption. While political pushback prevented the Pentagon from labeling the deceased with a dishonorable discharge, even a “general“The discharge can mean a loss of benefits and a black mark on a soldier’s disciplinary file.

The military began stepping up administrative proceedings against partially and unvaccinated people last week, explaining that non-conformants would no longer receive pay as of July or would be allowed to participate in “federally funded exercises and training. ” A statement from the military branch warns those who refuse the mandatory vaccination ordinance “they may be subject to further negative administrative action, including separation. “

The deadline for Army reservists and part-time National Guards to receive the vaccine expired last week, leaving 12% of reservists – about 22,740 people – not fully vaccinated. About 13.1 percent of the Army National Guard (44,000 soldiers) are also not fully vaccinated, a spokesperson told the Army Times.

Faced with the effect on US military readiness to potentially dismiss tens of thousands of unvaccinated soldiers, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley downplayed the problem by insisting “the numbers are very low, among other things, of those who refuse to be vaccinated“call the problem”manageable”And arguing that the soldiers should simply shut up and shoot.

However, a recent study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association confirmed that service members are suffering from serious, albeit rare, side effects from vaccines, including myocarditis.

The US military has had a hard time attracting new soldiers, recording the lowest number of recruitments in decades this year. Last month, the Pentagon admitted it was 23% behind its recruiting targets for the year, a problem that has been attributed to bad publicity, particularly the recent trend towards “woke up“Widely mocked ads on social media and a sloppy, old-fashioned recruiting system that puts too much responsibility in the hands of outside contractors.
