She also sponsored a bill for teaching kids \u201cqueer inclusive, pleasure-based sex ed\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/835n4jS8LS\">pic.twitter.com\/835n4jS8LS<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Libs of TikTok (@libsoftiktok) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/libsoftiktok\/status\/1544131356526948352?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 5, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Mack, who lists her pronouns in her Twitter bio and says she is a \u201cqueer educator,\u201d previously celebrated her teaching role, during which she taught \u201ccomprehensive, queer inclusive, pleasure based sex ed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The state senator, the first openly gay black woman to enter the Rhode Island legislature, claims that the backlash to her stunt has nothing to do with the sheer idiocy of the act itself, but is because she is \u201cblack\u201d and \u201cqueer.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">As a Black, queer woman you all should know the answer.
