Gina McCarthy, the Biden regime\u2019s national climate adviser, is calling on<\/a> social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter to start censoring critics of the climate change cult and their wild global warming doctrines.<\/p>\n

Even though Facebook already tried this several years back by pulling in third-party \u201cfact checkers\u201d to review posts and comments about the climate, Senate Democrats were not satisfied because of a \u201cloophole\u201d for opinion pieces. Facebook responded by applying \u201cfact check\u201d overlays to op-ed posts, but this still was not enough.<\/p>\n

McCarthy and other \u201cprogressive\u201d leftists want posts and comments that contradict climate change dogma to be removed entirely. Anything that calls into question the \u201cgreen\u201d energy push, she maintains, must be silenced and eliminated from public view.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow, it\u2019s not so much denying the problem,\u201d McCarthy stated during a recent Axios<\/em> interview. \u201cWhat the industry is now doing is seeding doubt about the costs associated with [green energy] and whether they work or not.\u201d<\/p>\n

Making reference to the week-long power outage<\/a> that occurred in Texas back in early 2021, McCarthy complained that the first thing people blamed for the blackouts were wind turbines.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat became the mantra,\u201d McCarthy claims, despite the fact that most corporate-controlled media outlets were actually blaming fossil fuels and climate change itself.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were among the few to point out that wind energy plunged as temperatures dropped and turbines froze,\u201d reported The Wall Street Journal<\/em> editorial board.<\/p>\n

\u201cGas-fired plants couldn\u2019t make up for the wind shortfall despite running all-out, and then some went down too. Ms. McCarthy doesn\u2019t want to admit the inconvenient truth that renewable energy sources are making the grid increasingly unreliable.\u201d<\/p>\n

McCarthy compares reliable fossil fuel energy providers to \u201cBig Tobacco\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n

McCarthy went on in her rambling diatribe to whine about the fact that climate fanatics like herself have been unable to successfully vilify the fossil fuel industry to the point that it collapses.<\/p>\n

She sure tried, though, by comparing reliable energy providers to \u201cBig Tobacco.\u201d She also accused them of accepting \u201cdark money\u201d used to \u201cfool\u201d the public about \u201cthe benefits of clean energy\u201d \u2013 clean<\/em>, in this context, referring to large wind turbine and solar panel plantations.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need the tech companies to really jump in,\u201d McCarthy went on to state, suggesting that Big Tech censorship is the only way to eliminate fossil fuels from the equation.<\/p>\n

Pointing out that \u201cgreen\u201d energy is expensive and inefficient cannot be allowed, she added, because doing so is \u201cequally dangerous to denial because we have to move fast\u201d to transition everything over to wind and solar at warp speed.<\/p>\n

Even just pointing out the technical limitations of lithium-ion batteries, or the incredible amount of waste and pollution that occurs in order to mine the rare earth minerals needed to manufacture them, represents \u201cdisinformation,\u201d according to McCarthy.<\/p>\n

When asked if such \u201cdisinformation\u201d is a threat to public health, McCarthy eagerly responded with an \u201cabsolutely,\u201d while hilariously claiming that \u201cBiden doesn\u2019t focus on, and neither do I on, bashing the fossil fuel companies.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Axios<\/em> interviewer was seen smiling and nodding along the entire time McCarthy was making these and other ridiculous statements, suggesting full support for the regime\u2019s endless propaganda.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome conservative scholars argue that Big Tech companies could be sued as \u2018state actors\u2019 for violating users\u2019 First Amendment speech rights when they censor content at the behest of government officials,\u201d the WSJ editorial board concluded about this ridiculous spectacle.<\/p>\n

\u201cMs. McCarthy is helping make their case.\u201d<\/p>\n
