Kalibr cruise missiles stuck the Beskydy railway tunnel in the Carpathian Mountains overnight, reports claim.<\/p>\n
The missiles were launched from a warship in the Black Sea and was captured on camera by a family caught up in the horror.<\/p>\n

They recorded the strike in Lviv region, reporting that two missiles had hit the area.<\/p>\n
Ukrainian<\/a> official Anton Gerashchenko and Lviv governor Maksym Kozytskyy confirmed the late evening attack.<\/p>\n\u201cThe goal is to try to disrupt the railway communication and stop the supply of fuel and weapons from our allies,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Russia also targeted a second tunnel, he said.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Russian sources said the attacks had involved Kalibr missiles.<\/p>\n
These hypersonic warheads were previously launched from ships in the Black Sea<\/a> off the coast of Crimea at\u00a0Ukrainian<\/a>\u00a0military infrastructure back in March.<\/p>\nStrikes were reportedly carried out using long-range precision weapons on the evening of March 19 and the morning of March 20 and hit a site in the city of Nizhyn in Chernihiv state, 116 miles northeast of the capital Kyiv in the north of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
In April, images showed Kalibr missiles being loaded onto a submarine in Sevastopol naval port in annexed Crimea.<\/p>\n
The extent of damage to the Beskydy tunnel was unclear.<\/p>\n
