{"id":253682,"date":"2022-05-19T06:13:26","date_gmt":"2022-05-19T06:13:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=253682"},"modified":"2022-05-20T07:23:19","modified_gmt":"2022-05-20T07:23:19","slug":"big-pharma-funded-paper-recommends-taxing-the-unvaccinated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=253682","title":{"rendered":"Big Pharma-funded paper recommends taxing the unvaccinated"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Kit Knightly \u2013 Off-Guardian May 17, 2022<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>A new paper <a href=\"https:\/\/oxfordtax.sbs.ox.ac.uk\/article\/taxing-the-unvaccinated\">published<\/a> by Oxford University\u2019s Center for Business Taxation discusses \u2013 and in the end supports \u2013 the idea of a special tax levied on those who decline to be \u201cvaccinated\u201d against \u201cCovid19\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The paper\u2019s authors argue that a vaccine-related tax would be \u201cjustified\u201d because <em>\u201cTaxes on behaviour that is considered undesirable are nothing new<\/em>\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>And that even if the \u201cvaccines\u201d do cause serious harm to some people\u2026<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c<\/em><strong><em>some states do adopt policies that can lead to serious harm in exceptional cases when they consider that the benefits outweigh the costs<\/em><\/strong><em>\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Yes, you did read that right.<\/p>\n<p>They go on to suggest all sorts of ways of correcting this \u201cundesirable behaviour\u201d, from straight taxation to tax <em>credits <\/em>for those who <em>have<\/em> been vaccinated, to vaccine mandates and compulsory Covid insurance for the unvaccinated (which is just another way of saying \u201ctaxation\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>Now, here is where we could \u2013 and normally would \u2013 break down the article paragraph by paragraph. We would dissect the arguments, include data they ignore, highlight logical fallacies\u2026you know, the usual.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re not going to do that today.<\/p>\n<p>We could point out the infection-fatality ratio for Covid \u201ccases\u201d is minuscule.<\/p>\n<p>Or that the so-called \u201cvaccines\u201d don\u2019t prevent either infection or transmission of the alleged new disease called \u201cCovid19\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>We could launch into a legal argument on civil rights, the Nuremberg Code, and medical coercion.<\/p>\n<p>But we\u2019re not going to do any of that.<\/p>\n<p>Because it\u2019s been two years of this, and life is just too damn short. We\u2019ve done it enough, the facts are all there for anyone who <a href=\"https:\/\/off-guardian.org\/2021\/09\/22\/30-facts-you-need-to-know-your-covid-cribsheet\/\">cares enough to find them<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, we\u2019re just going to quote the <a href=\"https:\/\/oxfordtax.sbs.ox.ac.uk\/about-us\">\u2018About\u2019 page<\/a> of the Oxford Center for Business Taxation, with a bit of added emphasis\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The Centre for Business Taxation was formed in 2005 and was initially funded by substantial donations from a large number of members from <strong>the Hundred Group<\/strong>. A number of these companies and others <strong>continue to support the CBT<\/strong>. Donors during the year were <strong>AstraZeneca<\/strong> [and] <strong>GlaxoSmithKline Plc<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be clear, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hundred_Group#:~:text=4%20Past%20chairmen-,Objectives%20of%20the%20Hundred%20Group,of%20accounts%20are%20fully%20understood.\">the Hundred Group<\/a> is a lobbying group which works on behalf of the all the members of the FTSE100.<\/p>\n<p>GlaxoSmithKline is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, and partnered with French giant Sanofi to<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sanofi%E2%80%93GSK_COVID-19_vaccine\"> produce a Covid vaccine<\/a> which netted the companies billions in supply contracts, despite the fact it is yet to be approved for public use.<\/p>\n<p>If you know anything at all about Covid, you don\u2019t need us to tell you who AstraZeneca are.<\/p>\n<p>The CBT \u2013 and therefore the paper \u2013 are funded by big business and big pharma.<\/p>\n<p>Do we really need to add anything else?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8212;<\/p>\n<h3>Can you spare $1.00 a month to support independent media<\/h3>\n<p>Unlike the Guardian we are NOT funded by Bill &amp; Melinda Gates, or any other NGO or government.
