While pushing a billion dollar \u2018pandemic prevention\u2019 <\/strong>global government<\/strong> health \u2018solution\u2019<\/strong><\/a> at a TED Talk this week, Bill Gates addressed \u2018conspiracy theories\u2019 regarding himself and COVID vaccines, calling those who speak about them \u201ccrazy.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

In an appearance at the TED2022 conference in Vancouver, Canada, Gates declared that it was \u201csomewhat ironic\u201d\u00a0that protesters had gathered outside the venue because he has \u201csaved tens of millions of lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gates said that \u201cThe Gates Foundation is very involved in vaccines, the invention of new vaccines, funding vaccines. So it\u2019s somewhat ironic to have somebody turn around and say we\u2019re using vaccines to kill people or to make money or we started the [Covid-19] pandemic,\u201d Insider reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Gates continued, \u201cOr when we started during the pandemic, even some strange things \u2014 like that I somehow want to track, you know, the location of individuals \u2014 because I\u2019m so deeply desirous of knowing where everyone is.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gates also proclaimed that it\u2019s\u00a0\u201ckind of weird,\u201d\u00a0that people don\u2019t like him, adding\u00a0\u201cDoes this turn into something where there\u2019s constantly crazy people showing up?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully as the pandemic calms down, people are more rational about, \u2018Hey, vaccines are a miracle and there\u2019s a lot more we can do,\u2019\u201d\u00a0Gates further stated.<\/p>\n

Gates spent most of the speech pushing his vision for a global emergency-response squad under the acronym GERM, Global Epidemic Response and Mobilization.<\/p>\n
