China makes semi-secret delivery of missiles to Serbia<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Russian ally Serbia took the delivery of a sophisticated Chinese anti-aircraft system in a veiled operation this weekend, amid Western concerns that an arms buildup in the Balkans at the time of the war in Ukraine could threaten the fragile peace in the region.<\/p>\n

Media and military experts said Sunday that six Chinese Air Force Y-20 transport planes landed at Belgrade’s civilian airport early Saturday, reportedly carrying HQ-22 surface-to-air missile systems for the Serbian military.<\/p>\n

The Chinese cargo planes with military markings were pictured at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla airport. Serbia’s defense ministry did not immediately respond to AP\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

The arms delivery over the territory of at least two NATO member states, Turkey and Bulgaria, was seen by experts as a demonstration of China\u2019s growing global reach.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Y-20s\u2019 appearance raised eyebrows because they flew en masse as opposed to a series of single-aircraft flights,\u201d wrote The Warzone online magazine. \u201cThe Y-20\u2032s presence in Europe in any numbers is also still a fairly new development.\u201d<\/p>\n

Serbian military analyst Aleksandar Radic said that \u201cthe Chinese carried out their demonstration of force.\u201d<\/p>\n

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic all but confirmed the delivery of the medium-range system that was agreed in 2019, saying on Saturday that he will present \u201cthe newest pride\u201d of the Serbian military on Tuesday or Wednesday.<\/p>\n

It began late Friday night (US east coast time) when a series of four(4) China People’s Liberation Army Y-20 Troop transport aircraft, were observed flying toward southeastern Europe.\u00a0 Those planes began landing in Serbia.<\/p>\n

Shortly thereafter, the original four planes were joined by at least two additional Y-20 transport planes.<\/p>\n

According to public sources, each plane is capable of carrying either three-hundred (300) troops or 110 paratroopers, each.<\/p>\n

These four planes landed in the Capital.<\/p>\n

The final two were also seen doing “zig-zag” maneuvers at 3500 feet northwest of the Capital; exactly the type of maneuvers and altitude one might expect to see from planes deploying paratroopers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the first time in a long time, the world is now seeing China Communist Party (CCP) force projection.<\/p>\n

It is not known yet, why the troops have been sent, or what their purpose is.<\/p>\n

Initial SPECULATION is that they are being sent to secure the vast Lithium deposits in Serbia, but that is just a wild guess.<\/p>\n

Whatever is going on, the possibility of World War 3 just expanded greatly.<\/p>\n
