Some Ukrainian refugees are refusing to go to multicultural Sweden because they fear for their safety, according to a report by news outlet Nyheter Idag.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The report consisted of on the ground testimony from Jimmy Hemmingsson, a Swedish refugee worker who is currently in the Polish capital of Warsaw attempting to help Ukrainian refugees reach the Scandinavian country.<\/p>\n

However, citing concerns about a rise in shootings in Sweden, as well as fears over social services taking their children away, many Ukrainian refugees are declining Hemmingsson\u2019s offer.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe revealed that he was currently having a hard time filling the buses destined for Stockholm,\u201d reports ReMix News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are a lot of rumors. People are vulnerable, they hear one thing, and then it becomes a reality,\u201d Hemmingsson said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s easy for me to walk around and say that I\u2019m a good old man named Jimmy and come from Sweden, but it gives no one confidence. An authority would do that,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

As we previously reported<\/a>, having been one of the safest countries in Europe 20 years ago before mass uncontrolled immigration, Sweden is now the continent\u2019s second most dangerous in terms of gun crime behind only Croatia.<\/p>\n

Last year, Germany\u2019s Bild newspaper ran the headline<\/a>: \u2018Sweden is the most dangerous country in Europe.\u2019<\/p>\n

Shootings in Sweden hit a record high last year as authorities are increasingly unable to contain migrant gang crime. There were 46 homicides committed in 335 shootings across, with most of them occurring in the migrant hotspots of Malm\u00f6, Gothenburg, and Stockholm.<\/p>\n

As we highlight in the video below, fears expressed by Ukrainian refugees are well founded.<\/p>\n

Female refugees who were housed in a hostel in \u00d6rebro revealed how they were stalked, sexually harassed and intimidated by groups of Somali migrant men.<\/p>\n

After the harrowing experience, some of those involved said they\u2019d prefer to take their chances and return home to the war.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen there are bombs, I know at least that I can go down to the basement and hide there,\u201d one woman told Swedish news outlet Samnytt.<\/p>\n
