CNN host Don Lemon declared Tuesday that those who choose not to take coronavirus vaccines are \u201cidiots\u201d who need to be ostracised from \u201cpolite society\u201d for the \u201cgreater good\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Referring to a viral rant against the unvaccinated by a Mexican news anchor, Lemon stated \u201cHe\u2019s right,\u201d further noting \u201cI\u2019ve gotten criticized for saying that we need to stop listening to the people and they should not be part of polite society, so to speak.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lemon continued, \u201cthe unvaccinated people in the U.S., they\u2019re key to the reason that coronavirus, the variants are emerging. And that the reason \u2013 I\u2019m looking at the stats from the CDC \u2013 and the reason why it\u2019s replicating and mutating. It\u2019s because of unvaccinated people, who are doing their own research online!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t do my own research better than experts who do have devoted their lives to medical and scientific research,\u201d Lemon continued, adding that those who don\u2019t \u201cbelieve in science\u201d shouldn\u2019t be allowed to travel.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have to start doing things for the greater good of society and not for idiots who think that they can do their own research, or that they are above the law and they can break the rules,\u201d Lemon further proclaimed, pointing to tennis champion\u00a0Novak Djokovic.<\/p>\n

Lemon stated that Australia told Djokovic \u201cNo, no, no, no, no. We\u2019re going to look at the greater good of everyone in our society, and you\u2019re not part of that. We don\u2019t care that you\u2019re the number one tennis player in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd good on them because they are keeping their population and their citizens \u2013 people who want to be good citizens \u2013 they\u2019re keeping them healthy and safe and alive,\u201d Lemon declared.<\/p>\n
