When actor Jussie Smollett first claimed he was attacked by two white men wearing MAGA hats, liberals in media couldn\u2019t get enough of the story.<\/p>\n

Even though most people suspected it was a lie, the folks at MSNBC bought it hook, line and sinker.<\/p>\n

This week, a jury convicted Smollett finding him guilty on five out of six counts. It was all a hoax, and now no one at MSNBC wants to talk about it anymore. Isn\u2019t that strange?<\/p>\n

History appears to be repeating itself on MSNBC as its primetime stars, again, buried the hate crime hoax that has now resulted in the conviction of disgraced \u201cEmpire\u201d star Jussie Smollett.<\/em><\/p>\n

Smollett was found guilty on five of the six charges against him stemming from 2019 allegations that he was the victim of a racist and homophobic hate crime, which was later revealed he orchestrated.<\/em><\/p>\n

However, after the breaking news was mentioned on \u201cThe Beat with Ari Melber,\u201d Smollett\u2019s conviction was completely ignored by \u201cReidOut\u201d host Joy Reid, \u201cAll In\u201d host Chris Hayes, \u201cThe Rachel Maddow Show\u201d host Rachel Maddow,\u201d \u201cThe Last Word\u201d host Lawrence O\u2019Donnell as well as \u201c11th Hour\u201d anchor Brian Williams. Their coverage was largely dominated by an appeals court\u2019s decision to reject former President Trump\u2019s request to shield presidential records from the Jan. 6 committee.<\/em><\/p>\n

In fact, MSNBC\u2019s most-watched programs have never covered the hoax since Smollett made his initial claims and as his false narrative unraveled, according to Grabien transcripts.<\/em><\/p>\n
