At least a few Australians will not settle gently into forced confinement in the nation\u2019s quarantine camps for those who might have the coronavirus.<\/p>\n
Three people escaped the Howard Springs COVID-19 quarantine facility in Darwin on Tuesday, according to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation<\/a>.<\/p>\n Police say the three scaled a fence at the facility but have since been captured and arrested after a foot chase. Police identified the three as teenagers \u2014 ages 15, 16 and 17 \u2014 who tested negative for the virus after being apprehended.<\/p>\n Police said they don\u2019t think the teens<\/a> came into contact with any members of the community.<\/p>\n Northern Territory Chief Minister Michael Gunner said all three teens were from the Binjari community near the Katherine region of the Northern Territory and had been moved into quarantine as close contacts of positive cases, according to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.<\/p>\n Their escape Tuesday followed the escape of a 27-year-old man who scaled the fence several days ago.
