while those who refuse face death threats, claim activists"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>Lesbians claimed they get abuse if they do not wish to sleep with trans women<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Some claim they&#8217;ve been pressured to have sex with trans women with penises<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Transgender rights activists believe having genital preference is discriminatory\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Katie Feehan \u2013 Daily Mail Oct 26, 2021<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Some lesbians claim they have faced accusations of transphobia and threats of violence if they admit they are not attracted to trans women.<\/p>\n<p>Lesbians have spoken out and said they have at times felt pressured to have sex with trans women or coerced into accepting them as partners.<\/p>\n<p>More than half of the 80 women who responded to a survey by campaigning group Get the L Out\u00a0reported being pressured or coerced to accept a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/transgender-issues\/index.html\"><strong>trans woman<\/strong><\/a> as a sexual partner.<\/p>\n<p>In total, 66 per cent said they felt intimidated or had received threats in their LGBT groups.<\/p>\n<p>Respondents to the survey shared their experiences with one writing: &#8216;I thought I would be called a transphobe or that it would be wrong of me to turn down a trans woman who wanted to exchange nude pictures.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Young women feel pressured to sleep with trans women &#8216;to prove I am not a terf&#8217;.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The term &#8216;terf&#8217;, which stands for Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist, is often used to attack feminists calling to protect women-only spaces, and sex-based rights rather than gender-based rights, in opposition to advice from LGBT lobby group Stonewall.<\/p>\n<p>The same &#8216;terf&#8217; term was levelled at JK Rowling after she disagreed with an online article describing &#8216;people who menstruate&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Another added: &#8216;I was told that homosexuality doesn&#8217;t exist and I owed it to my trans sisters to unlearn my &#8216;genital confusion&#8217;
