This particular situation has been feared for decades because it could literally wipe out the ENTIRE U.S. East Coast.<\/p>\n<p>The island of La Palma is part of the Canary Islands off the northwest coast of Africa.\u00a0 The scalable Google Map below shows its location:<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: 0;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m14!1m8!1m3!1d685058.7028888449!2d-17.865704!3d28.655173!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0xc6bf20c6a87a13b%3A0x8e2037d22330882d!2sLa%20Palma!5e1!3m2!1sen!2sus!4v1631548976667!5m2!1sen!2sus\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&#8212;<\/div>\n<p>The island was formed by eruptions from the Cumbre Vieja volcano.<\/p>\n<p>La Palma earned the nickname \u201cthe beautiful island\u201d \u2014 white sand beaches highlighted by black volcanic soil. An endless night sky filled with stars as far as the eye can see.<\/p>\n<p>But beauty here is only skin deep.<\/p>\n<p>Nestled on the western side of La Palma sits the Cumbre Vieja volcano, like a pot of water waiting to boil over. Its last big eruption was more than 50 years ago, but everyone knows it\u2019s only a matter of time before it unleashes the beast inside.<\/p>\n<p>Over decades, the entire southwest third of the island has become eroded and unstable from volcanic eruptions; with scientists fearing it could break loose and slide into the Atlantic Ocean.\u00a0 If that took place, the slide would be about 500 cubic KILOMOTERS of dirt and rock, plopping into the ocean, which would trigger <strong>a Tsunami wave for the entire Atlantic Ocean.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It starts with tremors &#8211; <strong>exactly like what we&#8217;re seeing right now.<\/strong> Glasses rattle on kitchen tables while picture frames skew left and right. Tourists to La Palma brush it off, calling the jelly feeling \u201csea legs\u201d \u2014 they are, after all, on an island.<\/p>\n<p>But the locals know better and they hold their breath. When it does happen, the ash and lava spill out of the volcano\u2019s mouth like a giant sigh. No one could have predicted what happens next.<\/p>\n<p>The western side of the volcano cracks and splits; the steam builds up inside and pushes against the volcano\u2019s walls. The pressure is too much; <strong>the entire western flank breaks off<\/strong>, the Atlantic Ocean eagerly swallowing every rock, stone and pebble as they freefall into its deep blue depths. The earth rumbles and the water begins to slosh around as its calm ebb and flow turns into frenzied splashing and crashing.<\/p>\n<p>The waves grow. And they grow and they grow. To the naked eye, it looks like the heavens unleashed a curtain made of water \u2014 somehow the volcano\u2019s landslide has produced a tsunami that reaches the sky.<\/p>\n<p>All 3,000 feet of water roars as it barrels away from La Palma\u2019s coast toward the United States. As the most western island of the Canary Islands, La Palma sits eight hours away from the eastern U.S. shore by plane. It\u2019s the one piece of good news: Residents have a window of time to evacuate.<\/p>\n<p>But chaos breeds chaos, and soon the highways are clogged with cars, frightened families from Boston to Miami trying to flee inland. A final silver lining: The wave decreases as it sojourns across the Atlantic from a staggering 3,000 to a mere 160 feet.<\/p>\n<p>As that wave travels from Africa to the west, it would move about as fast as a jet airliner, about 500 MPH.\u00a0 \u00a0About eight hours later, that wave would reach the North American coast line and begin to pile up on top of itself, creating upwards of a ONE HUNDRED TWENTY FOOT TALL wall of water, smashing into the ENTIRE east coast.<\/p>\n<p>All the major cities would be wiped out.\u00a0 \u00a0Boston, New York, Baltimore, Washington, DC, Norfolk, VA, Charleston, SC, Jacksonville, FL, Miami, would all be inundated by a giant wall of water.\u00a0 Most buildings within ten miles of the coast would be physically knocked down by the wave.\u00a0 Almost nothing would survive.<\/p>\n<p>Now, one might think &#8216;We&#8217;ll have 8 hours warning.&#8221;\u00a0 \u00a0<strong>Do you have any idea at all how long it would take to completely evacuate cities like Boston, New York or Miami?<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0And Miami is of particular concern because there may not be anywhere to go for ANYONE IN FLORIDA.<\/p>\n<p>Most of Florida is only about <u>four feet<\/u> above sea level.\u00a0 \u00a0The Tsunami 30 Meter (100 feet tall)\u00a0 wave from Las Palma might very well wash over the ENTIRE LANDMASS of the state.<\/p>\n<p>Elevation of Capitol Hill, Washington, DC, USA\u00a0\u00a0<strong>79 ft.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In fact, scientists say that the area impacted by any such Tsunami contains twenty-nine percent (29%) of the US population and <strong>they estimate 65 Million DEAD.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>There are plenty documentaries on tubes about this.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>-Worse case says up to 250 miles inland using rivers.<br \/>\n-100&#8242; high<br \/>\n-Travel a few hundred miles per hour<br \/>\n-Seven-Eight hours to reach NYC<\/p>\n<p>Long island would go underwater for a time<br \/>\nSo would Florida<br \/>\nA few dozen nuclear reactors would be Fukushima, or worse<br \/>\nHudson River would flood all the way to Albany<br \/>\nCould be one large one or several smaller ones.<\/p>\n<p>or,&#8230;we could see a little ripple at the docks.<\/p>\n<p>Just keep your tank filled w gas. Download some tsunami alert app or something<\/p>\n<p>Oh then there is this &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;REV 8:8 &#8211; And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>translation<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A volcano erupted then busted up with a large portion falling into the sea killing 1\/3 of all coastal inhabitants of that sea.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>no, doesn&#8217;t say which sea<\/p>\n<p>The wave touches down, flowing onto beaches and flooding bays. Coastal buildings don\u2019t stand a chance; water rushes inland 10-40 miles along the entire eastern seaboard. Homes are destroyed, countless hotels crumble under the force.
