Click to enlarge<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The property, surrounded by lush, tall trees, was purchased by King\u2019s wife, Rai-Tonicia King, a Ph.D. candidate and educator, in November 2020 for $842,000, public records show.<\/p>\n<p>King has been dogged for years by allegations of shady dealings <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/goldie-taylorwhere-did-all-the-money-shaun-king-raised-for-black-lives-go\">in his charitable efforts<\/a> in movements he has founded \u2014 including a lack of transparency in money he has raised for several criminal justice initiatives he has backed.<\/p>\n<p>Fellow activists and those who worked with him raising cash for everything from Haitian orphans to the families of black men killed by police, have repeatedly raised questions about King\u2019s leadership, and, in some cases, asked where the donations have gone.<\/p>\n<p>Samaria Rice \u2014 whose 12-year-old son Tamir was shot dead by cops in Cleveland in November 2014 \u2014 blasted King on social media, accusing him of soliciting funds in her dead son\u2019s name without her permission and even about his own identity as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/cheats\/2015\/08\/19\/shaun-king-s-parents-are-not-black\">black<\/a> or biracial.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPersonally I don\u2019t understand how you sleep at night,\u201d she wrote in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CQcK0Alg9Ka\/\">Instagram post<\/a> addressed to King last month, after the activist <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/06\/23\/tamir-rices-mom-rips-shaun-king-for-profiting-off-her-sons-death\/\">revealed details<\/a> of a personal conversation he had with Rice. \u201cI never gave you permission to raise nothing.. Along with the united states, you robbed me for the death of my son.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou are a selfish self-centered person and God will deal with you\u2026,\u201d continued Rice, who heads up a foundation named for her son.<\/p>\n<p>King co-founded the Real Justice political action committee in 2017 with former Black Lives Matter leader Patrisse Cullors, who resigned from BLM a month after The Post revealed she had spent more than <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/04\/10\/inside-blm-co-founder-patrisse-khan-cullors-real-estate-buying-binge\/\">$3 million on real estate<\/a> in the US.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_231726\" style=\"width: 370px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Khan-Cullors-properties.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-231726\" class=\"wp-image-231726\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Khan-Cullors-properties-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"360\" height=\"240\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-231726\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Shaun King seems to be following in the footsteps of Black Lives Matter leader Patrisse Cullors. Click to enlarge<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The federal PAC helps to elect progressive district attorneys across the country to \u201cfight to end structural racism,\u201d according to the group\u2019s website, taking in more than $3.2 million from 2019 to 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Of those funds, Real Justice doled out $460,000 in \u201cconsulting\u201d fees to <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/blm-activists-sent-pac-donations-to-their-own-companies-documents-show\/\">three companies<\/a>: Social Practice LLC, Bernal Alto LLC and Middle Seat Consulting LLC, which are controlled by some members of the political action committee, including treasurer Rebecca Bond, according to a report.<\/p>\n<p>Other PAC payments included $46,330 to Janaya and Patrisse Consulting, a company run by Cullors and her wife Janaya Khan. Those payments were made between 2017 and 2020, according to the Federal Election Commission.<\/p>\n<p>A former journalist and father of five who worked on Bernie Sanders\u2019 presidential campaign, King began his activist career after the August 2014 shooting of Michael Brown, 18, who was killed by a white police officer in Ferguson, Mo., just a few months before Rice was shot while playing with a toy gun.<\/p>\n<p>Following the two shootings, King launched the Justice Together coalition to help raise awareness of police brutality and support Black Lives Matter in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>He quickly abandoned the group, former members said in an open letter published in \u201cMedium,\u201d citing King\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/@JT30\/an-open-letter-from-former-directors-of-justice-together-november-13-2015-aa695cf5490c\">\u201clack of accountability.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe silenced dissent without productive discussion, he removed volunteers for speaking up due to his self-proclaimed paranoia, he repeatedly failed to meet his own timelines for his participation in the work, and he failed to delegate or discuss internally anything of consequence with the organization,\u201d wrote the former members.<\/p>\n<p>One woman, who had donated $50 a month to another entity King founded, claims his \u201cJustice, That\u2019s All\u201d group continue to charge donors monthly even after it disbanded in the summer of 2015.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just wanted to know how he was using the funds that had been auto donated,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/javachik\/status\/1011109361991671808\">tweeted <\/a>the donor, Javachik, in 2018.
