When I pointed out recently that the Democrats are going to release the hounds to hunt down right-wingers and put them in torture camps, a reader claimed that I am schizophrenic, and his evidence was that I was \u201cwrong\u201d about the blacks going nuts this summer.<\/p>\n

While it is true that we are not seeing Black Lives Matter riots, something which I did expect, it is also true that black crime is now at the highest rates in living memory.<\/p>\n

We now have nearly 1,000 shootings per week.<\/p>\n

Thousands of fans gathered in Wisconsin to celebrate the Milwaukee Bucks\u2019 NBA championship, but scenes of celebration soon turned into chaos when gunfire rang out.<\/p>\n

Two shootings broke out early Wednesday in downtown Milwaukee that wounded three, sent people running for their lives and left the community shell-shocked.<\/p>\n

The shootings are only a snapshot of the skyrocketing gun violence that has swept the nation in recent months. Between Saturday, July 17, and Friday, July 23, the Gun Violence Archive tracked at least 915 shooting incidents \u2014 or, a shooting every 12 minutes \u2014 that left at least 430 people dead and 1,007 wounded. In total, more than 1,000 were wounded or killed this week alone. These numbers are not static, and are constantly updated as data comes in.<\/p>\n

Last year marked the deadliest year for shooting-related incidents in the U.S. in at least two decades, according to Gun Violence Archive data with more than 43,000 gun deaths. But GVA\u2019s data suggests 2021 is on track to surpass those figures with more than 24,000 gun fatalities reported so far.<\/p>\n

ABC News partnered with its owned stations and affiliates across the nation to track the devastation. The findings reveal that gun violence, for many Americans, isn\u2019t far removed from everyday life.<\/p>\n

We already have more than twice the violent crime rates of 2019, and it might end up being four times the 2019 rate by the end of 2021.<\/p>\n

Along with the shootings, every single other form of crime has increased.<\/p>\n

One of the most ridiculous crime trends is that retail theft is taking place on a large scale, with the blacks just walking in and grabbing stuff and walking out.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s kind of hilarious.<\/p>\n
