Despite the photo and quote featured above, this article isn\u2019t exclusively about Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson.<\/p>\n

Its central focus is a photo that features Rabbi Schneerson, the charismatic head of a mystical\/fundamentalist version of Judaism, and the questions it raises.<\/p>\n

However, before we examine the photo a little more about Rabbi Schneerson is in order. According to Alison Weir writing in CounterPunch<\/a>, some of Schneerson\u2019s followers considered him “the Messiah<\/a>, and Schneerson himself reportedly<\/a> sometimes implied this was true.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite passing away over a quarter of a century ago, Rabbi Schneerson still has millions of devoted followers. Central to his teaching was the belief that non-Jews were somehow inferior to Jews. Weir quotes him as saying:<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is what needs to be said about the body: the body of a Jewish person is of a totally different quality from the body of [members] of all nations of the world \u2026 The difference in the inner quality between Jews and non-Jews is \u201cso great that the bodies should be considered as completely different species.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cA completely different species\u201d!!<\/p>\n

Not even the Nazis were that extreme in their view of racial differences. Rabbi Schneerson continues:<\/p>\n

\u201cA Jew was not created as a means for some [other] purpose; he himself is the purpose, since the substance of all [divine] emanations was created only to serve the Jews.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe important things are the Jews, because they do not exist for any [other] aim; they themselves are [the divine] aim.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe entire creation [of a non-Jew] exists only for the sake of the Jews.\u201d<\/p>\n

In other words non-Jews are considered less than human and were created solely to serve Jews. Given the Israeli treatment of Palestinians Schneerson\u2019s statements don’t come as a surprise. Indeed, the IDF\u2019s ruthless suppression of Palestinians suggests that many Israelis share Schneerson’s view.<\/p>\n

However, as previously noted, this article is about a photo, which features below:<\/p>\n

Despite being ostensibly a Catholic<\/a> many suspect that Bill Gates is in fact Jewish. Certainly, he strikes this writer as being Jewish but that in itself means nothing because even if he is, there are good Jews and bad Jews.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s crucial because you cannot make blanket judgements about this of that group. There are always exceptions, individuals within the group who act in accordance with their own individual initiative.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why this website features many writers who are Jewish but whose individuality as human beings is paramount.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the vast majority of Jews are neither particularly good nor bad but a few \u2013 and it must be stressed that they are a tiny minority like Rabbi Schneerson \u2013 give added dimension to the term \u201cthe Synagogue of Satan”.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, this small group is way more influential than their numbers would suggest.<\/p>\n

So if that really is Bill Gates listening in rapt attention to Rabbi Schneerson, we should be asking: how much influence his teaching has had on Bill Gates? More to the point, how much influence has the rabbi’s teaching had on Bill Gates current pet project to vaccinate humanity against Covid-19?<\/p>\n

Did Rabbi Schneerson provide a young Bill Gates with the philosophical and spiritual groundwork to launch the Covid-19 vaccination program?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
