We could never be friends because my crying had made\u00a0me his adversary for life.\u00a0Only after he died did I<\/strong> <strong>realize<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>I<\/strong> <strong>still\u00a0<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>loved him. But it was too<\/strong> <strong>late.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>( DISCLAIMER &#8211; This is not so much a eulogy\u00a0to my father as an epitaph to our relationship.\u00a0It&#8217;s more about me than him.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Everyone is fixated on the slugfeat in the Middle East, but June 15 is Father&#8217;s Day. Let&#8217;s not forget to honor our fathers.
