{"id":234052,"date":"2021-05-16T07:23:28","date_gmt":"2021-05-16T07:23:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=234052"},"modified":"2021-05-17T06:54:58","modified_gmt":"2021-05-17T06:54:58","slug":"twitter-suspends-spanish-politician-for-saying-a-man-cannot-get-pregnant-because-no-uterus-or-ovaries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=234052","title":{"rendered":"Twitter Suspends Spanish Politician for Saying \u2018A Man Cannot Get Pregnant\u2019 Because No \u2018Uterus Or Ovaries\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Jack Hadfield \u2013 NationalFile.com May 15, 2021<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><strong>A Spanish MP was suspended by Twitter for 12 hours, after he responded to a news article and noted that men do not have the biological ability to become pregnant.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Francisco Jos\u00e9 Contreras, an MP for the populist right wing party Vox, posted a news article to Twitter about a Spanish female-to-male transgender individual who was pregnant and recently gave birth to a daughter, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elmundo.es\/espana\/2021\/05\/03\/608fd1fcfdddff74348b4593.html\">with the article in question<\/a> claiming that this made this individual a father. Contreras in his tweet said that this was a total lie. \u201cA man cannot get pregnant,\u201d he tweeted. \u201cA man does not have a uterus or ovaries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, not long after he tweeted his statement, Contrera received an email from Twitter, claiming that he had violated their rules on \u201chate speech,\u201d informing him that they do not allow material that \u201cthreatens, harasses or promotes violence\u201d against anybody based on a number of personal characteristics, including gender identity, among others. The email also warned him that repeated \u201cbreaches\u201d could lead to permanent suspension of his account.<\/p>\n<p>Contrera posted the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2021\/05\/11\/twitter-censors-a-mp-of-the-spanish-congress-for-saying-a-man-cannot-get-pregnant\/\">text of the email<\/a> on his Facebook page, where he revealed that he had been also forced to delete the offending tweet. The Spanish MP described the incident as being \u201cbiological fascism,\u201d and joked that next time he would get suspended for saying that 2+2+4. Biological truth should not be regarded as \u2018hate speech\u2019.
