In response to what they see as coming fulfilment of ancient prophecies, Iran\u2019s leaders have commissioned a feature length documentary, which is currently being shown to Iranian Revolutionary Guards Commanders. <\/span><\/h5>\n
\"\"<\/a>According to Reza Kahlili, a former member of the Revolutionary Guards who later spied for the CIA, the movie will then be screened at mosques and Islamic centres in Iran and throughout the\u00a0world. An extract from the video appears below\u00a0for\u00a0readers\u00a0to judge for themselves.<\/span><\/h5>\n
Leaving aside\u00a0the prophecies themselves\u00a0the film itself may offer insight into how Iran\u2019s leaders view the world and their plans in it.<\/span><\/h5>\n
Its theme is the long predicted return of a figure known as al-Mahdi.<\/span><\/h5>\n
Unbeknown to many Christians, what their preachers\u00a0refer as the \u201cend times\u201d has a counterpart in Islam known as <\/span>Qiyamah<\/span><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/h5>\n
Many muslims believe that <\/span>Muhammad al-Mahdi<\/span><\/span><\/a>who was born July 29, 869, will return with Jesus Christ \u2013 <\/span>or Isa as he is known to Muslims<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u2013 to wage a final war against the forces of evil.<\/span><\/h5>\n
According to Kahlili, the film makes the case that al-Mahdi\u2019s return is imminent and that Iran will play a key role in the war.<\/span><\/h5>\n
Unsurprisingly perhaps Ahmadinejad\u2019s chief of staff, Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei, is said to have played a part in the movies creation.<\/span><\/h5>\n
Its overall message is that the \u201cfinal chapter has begun\u201d. Using current events as a pointer, it\u00a0argues that <\/span>al-Mahdi\u2019s return <\/span><\/span><\/a>is imminent and that many of Iran\u2019s allies and political leaders will play a part in his return.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/h5>\n
The film\u00a0portrays Iran\u2019s spiritual leader Ayatollah Khamenei, Ahmadinejad and Hezbollah leader Nasrallah\u00a0as destined to be crucial figures in the impending conflict.<\/span><\/h5>\n
In fact in July 2010, a senior Iranian cleric revealed that Khamenei told close associates that he had privately met with the Mahdi and was\u00a0informed that he’d return before Khamenei\u2019s time as Supreme Leader ends.<\/span><\/h5>\n
Khamenei is 71 years old and widely believed to be in poor health. Meaning that al-Mahdi\u2019s return could be imminent.<\/span><\/h5>\n
The current turmoil in the Arab world is also viewed\u00a0to portend\u00a0al-Mahdi\u2019s return and a sign that the impending war will soon begin.<\/span><\/h5>\n
The film presents the invasion of Iraq as the fulfilment of a prophecy by Imam Ali, who said: “they [the enemies of Islam] will conquer Iraq and through bloodshed create divisions in tribes” and “at that time, be ready for the reappearance of the last messiah, Imam Mahdi.”<\/span><\/h5>\n
It also portrays the removal of Egyptian President Mubarak as part of the fulfilment of this prophecy along with the death of Saudi King Abdullah. Moreover, the movie maintains that King Abdullah\u2019s death will herald the destruction of Israel and arrival of the Mahdi.<\/span><\/h5>\n
Given that the Saudi king is 86 years old and in poor health that may not be too far off.<\/span><\/h5>\n
All this has parallels in Masonic teaching of course. In the now infamous predictions of General Albert Pike, the leading 19th century Freemason who spoke of <\/span>\u201cthree world wars\u201d and the coming of \u201cuniversal manifestation of the doctrine of Lucifer<\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/h5>\n
There is one difference however and it\u2019s a crucial one. For while Islam has widely promulgated the notion of al-Mahdi\u2019s return and the Christian \u201cEnd Times\u201d is well known, albeit now taught in a debased form, Pike\u2019s predictions have been divulged only to a select few.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/h5>\n
The fact that they have been made known only to a few is a sure sign of Masonry\u2019s dark agenda. Because those to whom these secrets are divulged are expected to serve Masonry\u2019s aims in return for more earthly returns, making it\u00a0a form of black esotericism.<\/span><\/h5>\n
In the case of Masonry those returns could come in the form lucrative business contacts, financial leverage or political influence. However the fact that they are using higher knowledge for earthly gain, regardless of the consequences, makes it in practise a form of black magic.<\/span><\/h5>\n
Not that the average Mason realises this but then evil flourishes in ignorance.<\/span><\/h5>\n
Meanwhile the video itself at one point\u00a0quotes a Koranic passage about the hidden imam returning when unscrupulous\u00a0leaders are in power. This is followed by photos of George Bush, Benjamin Netahyahu, Barack Obama and Angela Merkel: which we have to say, makes perfect sense.<\/span><\/h5>\n
Below is an extract from the video. To be sure it isn’t an\u00a0expensive\u00a0Western production but it\u00a0could\u00a0have\u00a0profound influence nonetheless.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n
