This Critical Race Theory is in public schools.<\/h4>\n<h4>&#8216;This is not a rich person issue, this is not a New York City issue &#8211; this is an American issue. It is a disaster for education nationwide, which is a disaster for our future.&#8217;<\/h4>\n<h4>Gutmann said he was angered by an excessive focus on race, with weekly diversity and inclusion events and\u00a0&#8216;everything being looked at through the lens of race&#8217;.<\/h4>\n<h4>&#8216;It&#8217;s the indoctrination,&#8217; he said. &#8216;Not being able to have a discussion.<\/h4>\n<h4>&#8216;Schools like Brearley are supposed to teach intellectual curiosity and openness and discussion.
