According to property records, Khan-Cullors just purchased her fourth estate, which means she now owns $3.2 million worth of property in the United States alone. Khan-Cullors is also reportedly eyeing a property in the Bahamas at an ultra-exclusive resort where Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake both own homes.<\/p>\n
\u201cLuxury apartments and townhouses at the beachfront Albany resort outside Nassau are priced between $5 million and $20 million, according to a local agent,\u201d reports the New York Post<\/em> about the exotic locale.<\/p>\n The proud Marxist most recently purchased a $1.4 million home near Malibu that features \u201csoaring ceilings, skylights and plenty of windows,\u201d according to the listing. Located in Topanga Canyon, the property features two houses on a quarter acre, and this is in addition to at least three other homes in the Los Angeles area that Khan-Cullors owns.<\/p>\n None of the areas where Khan-Cullors now owns luxury properties have any black neighbors, by the way. Khan-Cullors has chosen to embrace \u201cwhiteness\u201d by setting up shop in almost exclusively white areas with high property values, safe neighborhoods, and an upward trajectory.<\/p>\n Responding to Khan-Cullors\u2019 hypocrisy, Hawk Newsome, head of BLM\u2019s Greater New York City chapter, is calling for an \u201cindependent investigation\u201d into the use of funds at BLM\u2019s global network, which is raking in millions<\/a> through taxpayer-funded grants and other sources.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you go around calling yourself a socialist, you have to ask how much of her own personal money is going to charitable causes,\u201d Newsome stated in criticism. \u201cIt\u2019s really sad because it makes people doubt the validity of the movement and overlook the fact that it\u2019s the people that carry this movement.\u201d<\/p>\n Prior to purchasing her L.A. mansion, Khan-Cullors and spouse Janaya Khan obtained a \u201ccustom ranch\u201d on 3.2 rural acres about 30 minutes from Atlanta. The property features a private airplane hangar with a studio apartment above it, as well as a 2,500-foot \u201cpaved \/ grass\u201d community runway for small airplanes.<\/p>\n The three-bedroom, two-bath house also features an indoor swimming pool and a separate \u201cRV shop\u201d that Khan-Cullors and her \u201cwife\u201d culturally appropriated from the local community.<\/p>\n Khan-Cullors\u2019 buying spree began back in 2016 when BLM really started to gain worldwide traction. In the years since, Khan-Cullors signed a book deal as well as a \u201cmulti-platform\u201d deal with Warner Bros. Television Group to produce media content for \u201cblack voices who have been historically marginalized.\u201d<\/p>\n The couple does own one home in a \u201cmulti-ethnic\u201d neighborhood of South Los Angeles that was purchased for $590,000. It has since appreciated to around $720,000.<\/p>\n As for the prospective property that Khan-Cullors is looking at in the exclusive Albany area of the Bahamas, an unidentified resort worker told the Post<\/em> that anyone who buys there is \u201cbuying their fourth or fifth home.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis is not a second-home residence,\u201d this person added. \u201cIt\u2019s extremely high-end, and people are coming here for complete and total privacy.\u201d<\/p>\n The property that Khan-Cullors reportedly looked at in Albany has 600 oceanside acres.<\/p>\n According to the BLM nonprofit co-founded by Khan-Cullors, the group took in $90 million in 2020 alone.
