{"id":230339,"date":"2021-03-28T08:17:02","date_gmt":"2021-03-28T08:17:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=230339"},"modified":"2021-03-30T06:21:28","modified_gmt":"2021-03-30T06:21:28","slug":"matt-hancocks-uk-health-security-agency-would-be-the-worst-april-fools-ever-except-he-isnt-joking","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=230339","title":{"rendered":"Matt Hancock\u2019s UK Health Security Agency would be the worst April Fool\u2019s ever \u2013 except he isn\u2019t joking"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Neil Clark \u2013 RT March 27, 2021<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>The UK Health Secretary confirmed this week that a new \u2018UK Health Security Agency\u2019 was being set up on April 1, thus marking the next stage in Britain\u2019s transformation into a repressive bio-security state.<\/p>\n<p>Back in 1957, the BBC\u2019s flagship current affairs programme <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/av\/uk-39411356\">Panorama<\/a> (well, it was then) showed a short three-minute film of a family in Switzerland harvesting spaghetti from a family \u2018spaghetti tree.\u2019 People rang up the BBC switchboard afterwards for advice on growing their own spaghetti. They should have paid closer attention to the date of the broadcast. The first of April. Yes, it was an \u2018April Fool.\u2019 One of the best in history.<\/p>\n<p>The first of April is also the date that the UK\u2019s new \u2018Health Security Agency\u2019 is being established but this time it really is no laughing matter. If only Matt Hancock was joking when he said he was setting up a <em>\u201cdedicated, mission-driven national institution for health security.\u201d<\/em> But, unlike his namesake, the great comedian Tony Hancock, Matt isn\u2019t remotely funny. The establishment of the UKHSA should give us all sleepless nights. It\u2019s actually more terrifying than the scariest Hammer horror movie. Well, Hancock\u2019s video announcing the news was, at any rate.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">This plays like a clip from a montage at the beginning of a dystopian sci-fi movie. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vFBBwYGAgy\">https:\/\/t.co\/vFBBwYGAgy<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; OffGuardian (@OffGuardian0) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/OffGuardian0\/status\/1374734178625937420?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 24, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The new agency \u2013which Britain needs right now as much as a hole in the head\u2013 brings together the work of Public Health England, NHS Test and Trace and the Joint BioSecurity Centre.<\/p>\n<p>Hancock says the body will be mission driven, but what will be the mission?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want everybody at UKHSA, at all levels, to wake up every day with a zeal to plan for the next pandemic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yes, that\u2019s right. We\u2019re at the tail end of Covid \u2013 but it\u2019s time to plan for the next Covid to come along. Has a government agenda ever been so transparent? Of course, Hancock is only echoing Bill Gates when he talks about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2021-01-27\/bill-gates-outlines-strategy-to-prevent-the-next-pandemic\">\u2018next pandemic\u2019<\/a>. Back in January the software multi-billionaire, who has been able to gain so much influence with his foundation\u2019s funding of academics, scientists and public health organisations, outlined his strategy for dealing with the \u2018next pandemic,\u2019 which, he warns, could be \u201cten times more serious\u201d than Covid. And, guess what, his strategy calls for \u201cmega-diagnostic platforms,\u201d mass vaccinations and governments spending lots of taxpayers\u2019 money.<\/p>\n<p>Compare <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2021-01-27\/bill-gates-outlines-strategy-to-prevent-the-next-pandemic\">Gates\u2019 proposals<\/a> with what Hancock says and the new \u201cSecuring Our Health\u201d webpage introducing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/securing-our-health-the-uk-health-security-agency\/securing-our-health-the-uk-health-security-agency\">UKHSA<\/a> and you can see quite clearly where the \u2018inspiration\u2019 for all this is coming from. Hancock, as he\u2019s done throughout 2020 and 2021, is following a global script.<\/p>\n<p>As I highlighted in a recent OpEd, the \u2018War on Covid\u2019 is the new \u2018War on Terror.\u2019 Civil liberties were stripped away, post 9-11, in the \u2018War on Terror\u2019 and now we have the latest\u00a0phase of the project. Like the War on Terror, the War on Covid\/War on Viruses is never meant to end. In fact we don\u2019t really need new viruses to come along. Covid variants will work quite nicely, if Gates\u2019 \u2018ten times more serious\u2019 virus is delayed in traffic.<\/p>\n<p>In a piece for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/opinion\/articles\/2021-03-24\/when-will-covid-end-we-must-start-planning-for-a-permanent-pandemic\">Bloomberg<\/a> this week entitled <em>\u2018We Must Start Planning for a Permanent Pandemic,\u2019<\/em> Andreas Kluth spelt it out very clearly for those who still don\u2019t get it: <em>\u201cFor the past year, an assumption \u2013sometimes explicit, often tacit\u2013 has informed almost all our thinking about the pandemic: At some point, it will be over, and then we\u2019ll go \u201cback to normal. This premise is almost certainly wrong. SARS-CoV-2, protean and elusive as it is, may become our permanent enemy, like the flu but worse.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The establishment of the UKHSA at a time when deaths with Covid have dropped to low numbers is a clear sign that the UK government plans no \u2018back to normal.\u2019 Perhaps the scariest sentence in the UKHSA policy paper is<em> \u201cWe need to consider how best to engage with citizens and drive behaviour change in the 21st century.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>What \u2018behaviour change\u2019 can that be, I wonder? Requiring people to wear face masks and maintain \u2018social distance\u2019 from one another permanently? Don\u2019t forget Home Secretary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itv.com\/goodmorningbritain\/articles\/social-distancing-is-here-to-stay-says-home-secretary-priti-patel\">Priti Patel<\/a> declared last May that social distancing was \u2018here to stay.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Many thought she misspoke, but ten months later and \u2018social distancing\u2019 is still here.<\/p>\n<p>Then there\u2019s the list of the new agency\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/securing-our-health-the-uk-health-security-agency\/securing-our-health-the-uk-health-security-agency\">five core functions<\/a>. Number One, again with echoes of the \u2018War on Terror,\u2019\u00a0 is \u201cPrevent.\u201d This means \u201c<em>Anticipating and taking action to mitigate infectious diseases and other hazards to health before they materialise, for example through vaccination and influencing behaviour.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Yes, you read that right.<em> \u201cBEFORE they materialise.\u201d<\/em> We will need to be vaccinated against viruses and hazards to health that haven\u2019t yet materialised! What a bonanza for Big Pharma that would be!<\/p>\n<p>Hancock\u2019s announcement comes in the same week as Boris Johnson \u2013 the dishevelled charlatan who promoted himself as a \u2018libertarian\u2019 to\u00a0 get elected but who\u2019s turned out to be the most dictatorial prime minister in our history \u2013 saying that pubs could require Vaccine Passports, once everyone had been offered a vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>With us still in lockdown, and the Coronavirus Act extended for a further six months, the architecture for permanent digital slavery is being constructed \u2013 and it\u2019s all being done under the guise of \u2018protecting\u2019 us. But who will protect us from our protectors?
