The increasingly desperate ploys are all in play, and if you\u2019re not paying attention you might just fall for them<\/strong><\/h4>\n

he vaccine rollout is in full flow now, the daily tickers have had \u201cpeople vaccinated\u201d added to their red counters, and the improbably large number grows more improbably large every day.<\/p>\n

The sale of the century is very much on. The powers that be want every single person to be vaccinated, and they\u2019re pulling out all the stops to make sure it happens.<\/p>\n

Here are the five main ways the establishment is trying to manufacture your consent.<\/p>\n

1. Bribery<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s being reported that everyone getting vaccinated is the only way to get \u201cback to normal\u201d.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t you want to go to the pub again? Or the gym? Or see granny? Or hug people?<\/em><\/p>\n

Well, just take the shot. Take the shot and all this lockdown and social distancing economic collapse and mounting poverty, it will all just go away.<\/em><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a common refrain, one which rather clashes with \u201cnew normal\u201d we\u2019ve been hearing about for a over year.<\/p>\n

In fact, it looks like \u201cback to normal\u201d may come with a qualifying asterisk. For example embattled New York governor Andrew Cuomo has said vaccines will help the state \u201cget back to normal*\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026where \u201cnormal\u201d involves an \u201cExcelsior Pass\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

You don\u2019t need me to explain the complexities of this technique. It\u2019s simple coercion. \u201cDo as we say, and you\u2019ll get a treat.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Important to remember:<\/strong> \u201cGetting back to normal\u201d is a lie. As much as people repeat the mantra in soundbites and social media posts, the \u201cexperts\u201d<\/a> are clearer \u2013 many have said we will NEVER be going back to normal<\/a>, and others have said we need to maintain anti-Covid measures until at least 2022<\/a>. The \u201cvaccine\u201d itself does not even claim to limit transmission, even those vaccinated are still being ordered to follow the restrictions.<\/p>\n

2. Celebrity Endorsements<\/h2>\n

One of the oldest and most widely used marketing gimmicks. Partly because it works<\/a>, but mostly because it\u2019s cheap and easy: Simply find a bunch of tools and put them to work.<\/p>\n

The NHS was not shy about this approach, claiming they were planning to enlist \u201csensible celebrities\u201d<\/a> who are \u201cknown and loved\u201d to combat anti-vax sentiment.<\/p>\n
