However, these alarmist headlines aren\u2019t just confined to the UK.<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.france24.com\/en\/europe\/20210108-french-restaurants-have-been-battered-by-the-covid-19-pandemic\">French restaurants have been battered by the Covid-19 pandemic<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-health-coronavirus-germany\/germany-reports-record-covid-19-deaths-concerns-about-new-variant-grow-idINKBN29D1DD\">Germany reports record COVID-19 deaths, concerns about new variant grow<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelocal.de\/20210108\/latest-germany-logs-new-record-of-covid-19-deaths-in-one-day\">LATEST: Germany logs new record number of Covid-19 deaths as more vaccines rolled out<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Truly this makes for grim reading and it\u2019s not just confined to Europe:<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.xinhuanet.com\/english\/2021-01\/08\/c_139652551.htm\">India&#8217;s COVID-19 tally rises to 10,413,417, Philippines logs 1,776 new cases<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/2021\/01\/07\/africa\/south-africa-grim-milestone\/index.html\">South Africa records &#8216;grim&#8217; Covid milestone as humanitarian crisis unfolds at border with Zimbabwe<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>However, like they say every picture tells a story and the following picture, or more precisely the following mortality statistics for the past thirty years speak volumes. True these statistics are for the UK only but I suspect that they reflect a similar story worldwide.<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/ONS-death-stats.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-224649\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/ONS-death-stats.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"426\" height=\"745\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/ONS-death-stats.png 426w, https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/ONS-death-stats-172x300.png 172w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 426px) 100vw, 426px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Although the UK is supposedly in the grip of a deadly \u201cpandemic\u201d there were more deaths in 1990 than last year, the start of the Covid-19 \u201cpandemic\u201d. This isn\u2019t speculation. It is official, these figures are from The Office for National Statistics.<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">In other words Covid-19 is largely a media created \u201cpandemic\u201d. This is not to say that Covid-19 is not real. It\u2019s just that the scale and severity of its impact is being greatly over-exaggerated.
