In the aftermath of World War 2 many top Nazis were to go to the U.S. and work in their chosen fields there. Some like Wernher von Braun, one of NASA\u2019s founders, ultimately became famous. Most though were smuggled over covertly in an operation known as \u2018Operation Paperclip\u2019 and remained relatively unknown. Could the scientists and technology behind the Ho-IX also have been secretly brought to the U.S and the technology still further developed?
