Feel the fear! Let\u2019s all panic! But, wait \u2026<\/h5>\n

Original Lockdown lasted from week ending 27 March \u2013 that of 5 June, and it CAUSED almost six thousand excess deaths, as shown in the chart (ONS stats).<\/h5>\n
It was mainly the old people, killed by stress, loneliness and fear.<\/h5>\n
After the Lockdown, for the next three months deaths remained 1-2% below<\/em> the yearly average.<\/h5>\n
Come the autumn Equinox, the Government started terrorising people with talk of a Second Wave and lockdown over Xmas: 15 October \u2018Level 2\u2019 was imposed on London.<\/h5>\n
In consequence<\/em>, deaths very slowly started to increase again.\u00a0For the month of October, the first three weeks show a slight excess of 4% \u2013 that is about one thousand extra deaths. So yes once again the Government is killing old people and yes it will probably get worse \u2013 but eighty-five thousand? I don\u2019t think so.<\/h5>\n
Problem: A politician stands up on his hind legs and starts braying about how you cannot meet up with yr mates in the pub (And that is what Level 2 means). Is that the Law? I\u2019m rather doubtful.<\/h5>\n
