{"id":214911,"date":"2020-10-13T07:34:33","date_gmt":"2020-10-13T07:34:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=214911"},"modified":"2020-10-15T06:15:47","modified_gmt":"2020-10-15T06:15:47","slug":"sex-pistol-johnny-rotten-of-course-im-voting-for-trump","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=214911","title":{"rendered":"Sex Pistol Johnny Rotten: \u201cOf Course I\u2019m Voting For Trump\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Steve Watson \u2013 SUMMIT News Oct 12, 2020<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Johnny-Rotten.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-214912\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Johnny-Rotten-768x403.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"284\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Johnny-Rotten-768x403.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Johnny-Rotten-300x158.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Johnny-Rotten.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><strong>Sex Pistols and P.I.L. frontman John Lydon, aka Johnny Rotten, confirmed he will vote for President Trump\u2019s reelection in November, reasoning that he does not \u2018want a politician running the world\u2019, and angering leftists in the process.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">While Lydon is British, he also has US citizenship, meaning he is eligible to vote next month.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The \u2018Pretty Vacant\u2019 singer <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2020\/oct\/9\/sex-pistols-singer-john-lydon-of-course-im-voting-\/\">told the BBC<\/a><\/strong><\/span> he\u2019s \u201cdefinitely\u201d voting for Trump, noting \u201cHe\u2019s an individual thinker, I\u2019ll give him that for a start.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201cHe\u2019s not the most lovable fellow on God\u2019s earth, but I cannot see the opposition as offering me anything by way of a solution,\u201d Lydon added.<\/span><\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vdUi_juHcl0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&#8212;<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">In a further interview with <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/music\/2020\/oct\/11\/john-lydon-interview-i-could-be-wrong-book-nora-wife-carer-trump-brexit\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>The Guardian<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, Lydon said \u201cI\u2019d be daft as a brush not to,\u201d vote for Trump, claiming that the President \u201creally is making the country a bit better,\u201d and adding that \u201cHe\u2019s the only sensible choice now that Biden is up \u2013 he\u2019s incapable of being the man at the helm.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201cJoe Biden is, in all practicality, senile, and delinquently senile. My wife has Alzheimer\u2019s \u2014 I know the symptoms,\u201d Lydon said in the BBC interview.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">When the BBC host countered Lydon and suggested there is no evidence that Biden is senile, Lydon responded \u201cOh, really? Have you seen him talk lately? I can only go on my vast experience, seeing as my wife is suffering from Alzheimer\u2019s.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Lydon expanded on his reasoning for supporting Trump, noting that he identified with Trump constantly being accused of racism on a whim.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201cI\u2019ve been accused of the very same thing, so I\u2019m offended for anybody who\u2019s called that,\u201d Lydon said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201cOf course I\u2019m anti-racism,\u201d Lydon emphasised.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">He also commented on the death of George Floyd, noting \u201cThere\u2019s not anyone I know anywhere that wouldn\u2019t say that wasn\u2019t ghastly\u2026 It doesn\u2019t mean all police are nasty or all white folk are racist. Because all lives matter.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Lydon also spoke about the COVID lockdown, noting \u201cI don\u2019t think lockdown is doing any good for anybody.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201cWrecking an economy is not the smartest move to cure any illness or virus or disease. We\u2019re all capable of wearing masks. We\u2019re all smart enough not to want to give each other filthy, horrible viruses. Give people the chance to work. Don\u2019t just close everything down. This is not Stalin at work here. But, I swear, the governments are beginning to feel that way. We have to hold ourselves responsible at some point in order for our society to exist at all,\u201d Lydon added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201cIt seems to me that what the Democrats here in America are promising will be tax hikes beyond belief, more lockdowns, more confusion, more bureaucracy and less answers,\u201d Lydon urged, adding \u201cI have seen what Democrats have done to California. They have destroyed this place.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Lydon <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/archives.infowars.com\/punk-icon-johnny-rotten-cheers-brexit-calls-trump-a-political-sex-pistol\/\">previously expressed support for Trump in 2016<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, after the election, noting \u201cWhat I dislike is the left-wing media in America are trying to smear the bloke as a racist and that\u2019s completely not true.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201cHe\u2019s a total cat amongst the pigeons \u2026 [He\u2019s] got everybody now involving themselves in a political way.
