I dislike Nicola Sturgeon more than most politicians, and not just because I live in Scotland. She has the unmistakable air of a petty tyrant whose love of power takes precedence over the welfare of those she rules.<\/h5>\n
It is becoming increasingly apparent that powers over and above national governments are dictating the global response to Covid-19. Why else would nations as diametrically opposed as Iran and Israel and as far apart as England and Australia respond as one?<\/h5>\n
Whoever is ultimately calling the shots, Nicola Sturgeon has responded with alacrity. With the Scottish Parliament in Holyrood often imposing measures more quickly and more decisively than Westminster.<\/h5>\n
Scottish independence was the promise that Sturgeon campaigned on to attain power, and that’s the irony. Because now that she has power she seems more than ready to do the bidding of a hidden, unelected elite\u00a0 who are really dictating the agenda for Covid-19. Ed<\/h5>\n
