He’s Also a Follower of an Apocalyptic Death Cult<\/h2>\n

Two weeks ago, Project Veritas\u00a0published an investigative journalism piece<\/a> showing the inner workings of “Antifa”\/anarchist paramilitary training at “The Base<\/strong><\/span>“<\/a> in Bushwick, Brooklyn.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not all the individuals involved were identified, but National Justice<\/em> can now confirm that the man\u00a0above is Brooklyn-based Andrew Gittlitz\u00a0(A.M. Gittlitz), an author and journalist who has been published in the New York Times<\/em> and Vice and is a leading figure\u00a0in\u00a0a\u00a0communist\u00a0death cult called the “Posadists.”<\/span><\/p>\n

According to multiple sources, Gittlitz and fellow cult members are integral parts of the New York City “antifa” scene. Gittlitz is the producer of the “Antifada” podcast (under the name AP Andy) and along with other members of his Posadist\u00a0group, worked with Jarrod Shanahan<\/strong><\/span><\/a> to dox and send death threats to\u00a0numerous\u00a0Proud Boys and nationalists.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gittlitz has written\u00a0for\u00a0the Trotskyite publishing house\u00a0Verso Books, which is\u00a0also deeply involved with underground antifa organizing,\u00a0as well as articles throughout left-wing publications like The Jacobin,\u00a0The Baffler, Salon, Vice and pieces in the now defunct Commune Magazine<\/a><\/strong><\/span> explicitly endorsing<\/a><\/strong><\/span> “antifa” political violence.<\/span><\/p>\n

One especially noteworthy contribution was Gittlitz’s op-ed<\/strong><\/span><\/a> for\u00a0the New York Times<\/em> for its “Red Century” celebration of the centennial of the Bolshevik revolution.\u00a0This served to platform his crackpot\u00a0apocalyptic UFO centered\u00a0interpretation of communism.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gittlitz is also friends with a number of connected people. For example, he is personal friends with the Southern Poverty Law Center’s (SPLC) Hannah Gais<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brighton Beach Nuclear War Cult\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

According to a source familiar with “antifa” in New York, Gittlitz belongs to a semi-religious communist group based out of South\u00a0Brooklyn.<\/span><\/p>\n

The group’s beliefs are inspired by J. Posadas\u00a0(real name Homero\u00a0Frasnelli), an Argentinian Trotskyist who believed<\/a><\/strong><\/span> in acceleration through the use of\u00a0nuclear bombs to usher in an apocalypse\u00a0that he theorized would end up ushering communism around the world. Extra terrestrials play a significant role in his and Gittlitz’s work.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Brooklyn, followers of this doctrine are led by a Brighton Beach man named Yevgeny Lerner, who goes by “Comrade Communicator” and claims to have a special ability to speak to aliens.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lerner, who has been a central organizer in NYC Antifa for a decade,\u00a0is believed to be one of the individuals who controls the\u00a0@NYCAntifa\u00a0twitter account.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the beaches of South Brooklyn, Gittlitz\u00a0and other left-wing extremists\u00a0take drugs and follow “Great Communicator” as he professes to\u00a0make\u00a0contact with beings from another galaxy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gittlitz is a deeply involved true-believer. Last year, he traveled to Cuba to an international communist conference to give a lecture<\/a><\/strong><\/span> on Posadism and attempt to recruit new members.<\/span><\/p>\n

Take Them Seriously\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Many right-wing people will look at Gittlitz and his beliefs and dismiss him as a mere kook.<\/span><\/p>\n

While his\u00a0beliefs may be absurd, his cult’s obsession with nuclear weapons and active training for political violence are not.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once again, we find that a promoter\u00a0of using violence to silence\u00a0people with different\u00a0beliefs is neatly entrenched in our institutional media. Almost all of the “antifa” movers and shakers National Justice<\/em> has reported on\u00a0have worked for\u00a0mainstream media outlets like Vice, as well as “respectable” socialist\u00a0ones like The Jacobin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many of them have their left-extremist writings referenced in the New York Times <\/em>in order to try and mainstream them, while Gittlitz was outright commissioned for a piece by them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why our elites actively promote mentally disturbed thugs who wish to use nuclear weapons to trigger an apocalypse continues to be an open ended question.<\/span><\/p>\n
