text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.informationliberation.com\/?id=61516\"><strong>it debunks the media&#8217;s entire false victimization narrative<\/strong><\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-208532\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/interracial-violent-crime.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"565\" height=\"511\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/interracial-violent-crime.jpg 565w, https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/interracial-violent-crime-300x271.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 565px) 100vw, 565px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">While Instagram has apparently deemed FBI crime stats off limits, Fox News and the Wall Street Journal are now running them on their front pages.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">For example, Fox News included these lines in their headline article on Sunday titled, &#8220;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/minneapolis-mayor-jacob-frey-rejects-city-council-push-to-defund-police\">Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey rejects city council&#8217;s push to defund police, despite veto-proof majority<\/a><\/strong><\/span>&#8220;:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Nationally, efforts to defund the police have been broadly unpopular, with only about <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/opinion\/campaign\/501511-defund-the-police-and-republicans-will-win\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>20 percent<\/strong><\/span><\/a> of Americans favoring reductions in police forces. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/graphics\/2019\/national\/police-shootings-2019\/\">Citing publicly available data<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, commentators <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/the-myth-of-systemic-police-racism-11591119883\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>have asserted<\/strong><\/span><\/a> that the very idea of systemic racism by police is questionable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><strong>&#8220;In 2018, the latest year for which such data have been published, African-Americans made up 53% of known homicide offenders in the U.S. and commit about 60% of robberies, though they are 13% of the population,&#8221; Heather Mac Donald <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/the-myth-of-systemic-police-racism-11591119883\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">wrote<\/span><\/a> in The Wall Street Journal this week.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><strong>&#8220;In 2018 there were 7,407 black homicide victims,&#8221; she went on. &#8220;Assuming a comparable number of victims last year, those nine unarmed black victims of police shootings represent 0.1% of all African-Americans killed in 2019. By contrast, a police officer is 18\u00bd times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer.&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Mac Donald continued: <strong>&#8220;A 2015 Justice Department <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.phillypolice.com\/assets\/directives\/cops-w0753-pub.pdf\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">analysis<\/span><\/a> of the Philadelphia Police Department found that white police officers were less likely than black or Hispanic officers to shoot unarmed black suspects. Research by Harvard economist Roland G. Fryer Jr. also found no evidence of racial discrimination in shootings.
