It is absolute stupidity to close state borders,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0Lukashenko\u00a0said last week.<strong>\u00a0\u201cNo one is talking about the virus. In the villages<\/strong>, the tractor will heal everyone. The fields heal everyone.\u201d\u00a0<strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/03\/24\/sports\/soccer\/soccer-belarus-coronavirus.html\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">To help combat COVID-19<\/span><\/a>, Lukashenko has recommended\u00a0having 40\u201350 grams of vodka daily, frequenting saunas and\u00a0farm work.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">That\u2019s right, it is a psychosis, and an insane and feeble-minded overreaction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><strong>Recently, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko displayed an iron calm, saying, \u201cThe most important thing is not to panic.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The president of the country, where 86 cases have been identified so far, said that they would not take any precautions against the coronavirus, adding,\u00a0<strong>\u201cit happens.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Lukashenko stated that everyone who came from abroad was tested, saying:\u00a0<strong>\u201cTwo to three people a day have been tested positive for the coronavirus. These people are quarantined for 1.5-2 weeks.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Displaying iron calm? We need some more of that. Calm and rationality \u2014 not emotion, hysteria and hype. The stupid feelings of excitable simpletons can\u2019t take precedent before the freedom of entire peoples.
