While its opponents maintain that fossil fuels do not contribute significantly to Climate Change and that only the very rich and powerful would benefit from Carbon Tax.<\/h5>\n<h5>Researchers in Finland and Japanese have both recently found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/news\/464051-finnish-study-no-evidence-warming\/\"><span style=\"color: #ffff00;\">no evidence<\/span><\/a> for man made global warming, which lends weight to the idea that temperature fluctuations are part of long term cycles in planetary temperature.<\/h5>\n<h5>We leave readers to decide but beyond scare mongering we also detect a distinctly arrogant, misanthropic tone in some of the following quotes. The people quoted do not love the planet, as some of them might have us believe, and they certainly do not love humanity. In fact they would like to dramatically reduce the world&#8217;s population so that they would have the planet for themselves, and few few of their servants, of course.<\/h5>\n<h5>To this end they they think that they have a rationale in &#8216;Global warming&#8217;. Ed.<\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>&#8220;The common enemy of humanity is man. In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8211; Club of Rome, premier environmental think-tank, consultants to the United Nations<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>&#8220;We need to get some broad based support, to capture the public&#8217;s imagination&#8230; So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements and make little mention of any doubts&#8230; Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/strong>&#8211; Prof. Stephen Schneider, Stanford Professor of Climatology, lead author of many IPCC reports<\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>\u201cThe data doesn&#8217;t matter. We&#8217;re not basing our recommendations on the data.
