<\/a><\/p>\nDuring the start of Lunar New Year celebrations, a mystery virus is spreading and infecting throughout China.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n As for\u00a0official statistics<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, 54 people in the mainland have died and over 1,700 people (as of writing) have been sickened.\u00a0Although\u00a0unverified video<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>claims up to 90,000 have already been infected by the coronavirus.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n A laboratory in\u00a0Wuhan, China<\/a><\/span>\u00a0was cleared to work with the most dangerous pathogens in the world in 2017.<\/strong>\u00a0Once the outbreak of the coronavirus went public, it was reported that the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market (just 8 miles from the lab) was the culprit of the virus, where wild (and often illegal) animals are sold.\u00a0However,\u00a0no link<\/span><\/a>\u00a0with the market and Patient Zero were found.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The market likely had some hand in transmitting the virus, given its unsanitary conditions and high volume of human traffic,\u00a0but the coincidence of the Wuhan lab\u2019s location becomes even more disconcerting when viewed in light of the currently\u00a0\u201cunrelated<\/span>\u201d<\/a>\u00a0events.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n In what has to be bizarre coincidence,\u00a0in just November of last year,<\/strong>\u00a0the Gates Foundation held a simulation called\u00a0\u201cEvent 201<\/strong><\/span>\u201d<\/a>.\u00a0Event 201 simulated an outbreak of a \u201czoonotic \u201ccoronavirus\u201d. \u201cZoonatic\u201d would be the spread of disease through animals (vertebrates).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The scenario ends at the 18-month point,\u00a0with 65 million deaths.<\/strong>\u00a0The pandemic is beginning to slow due to the decreasing number of susceptible people. The pandemic will continue at some rate until there is an effective vaccine\u00a0or until 80-90 % of the global population has been exposed.<\/strong>\u00a0From that point on,\u00a0it is likely to be an endemic childhood disease.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n 2 cases of the coronavirus<\/strong>\u00a0have been\u00a0confirmed<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0in the U.S. by the CDC.
