{"id":200992,"date":"2020-01-18T07:20:33","date_gmt":"2020-01-18T07:20:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=200992"},"modified":"2020-02-10T22:33:52","modified_gmt":"2020-02-10T22:33:52","slug":"germanys-forgotten-pensioners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=200992","title":{"rendered":"Germany\u2019s Forgotten Pensioners"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">Eric Striker \u2013 National Justice Jan 17, 2020<\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/17177648_303.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-200993\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/17177648_303.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"304\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/17177648_303.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/17177648_303-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">According to the technocratic consensus, developed countries with high median ages and low birth rates need mass migration to pay for pensions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">What they don\u2019t explain is how importing millions of people to gain employment as cleaners, Uber drivers and retail workers at reduced wages in big expensive cities is going to replenish the coffers with enough to cover the pensions of retired middle class Germans.<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong> <a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/german-bureaucracy-keeps-refugees-out-of-job-market-report-finds\/a-49251888\">25%<\/a><\/strong><\/span> of job-seeking \u201crefugees\u201d have never even attended school. They consume less and are more likely to try and cheat the welfare system due to pressure to send money back to their families at home or pay back debts to smugglers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The German economy is currently <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.economist.com\/europe\/2019\/08\/15\/germanys-economy-is-now-shrinking\">shrinking<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, so even the menial jobs immigrants are taking tend to be temp work. Many of them live as badly or worse as in their home countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Natives too are feeling the burden of these disastrous liberal-capitalist policies. A new, likely conservative estimate released last Thursday claims that more than <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/poverty-increasingly-threatens-elderly-germans-says-study\/a-50393805\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>1 out of every 5<\/strong><\/span><\/a> German pensioners live in poverty (<a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/archive.fo\/iRLtW\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>19%<\/strong><\/span><\/a>). The numbers are projected to get worse in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">At the same time, the German government spent <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-germany-budget-refugees\/germany-spends-record-23-billion-euros-on-refugees-document-idUSKCN1SQ182\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>$26.6 billion dollars<\/strong><\/span><\/a> in 2018 to \u201cintegrate\u201d millions of new migrants. This is enough to give every one of Germany\u2019s 22.9 million pensioners a substantial pay bump. This is even more true if it were means-tested for middle and working class people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Instead, the tragic irony of forced emigration has become increasingly normal for old people. While some Germans choose to retire abroad out of their own free will, a <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.xinhuanet.com\/english\/2019-09\/11\/c_138382099.htm\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>growing number<\/strong><\/span><\/a> are moving to the Balkans or Asia due to their inability to afford daily living expenses in their own land.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">In response to this, Merkel\u2019s conservative Christian Democratic Union <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2019-11-10\/merkel-coalition-averts-crisis-with-compromise-on-basic-pension\">begrudgingly agreed<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>to a compromise with the Social-Democrats after the latter threatened to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2019-11-10\/merkel-coalition-averts-crisis-with-compromise-on-basic-pension\">upend<\/a><\/strong><\/span> the country\u2019s fragile ruling coalition. A paltry $1.5 billion will be allocated to deal with this crisis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The state does not pinch pennies when it comes to paying Jewish pensioners abroad, however. German taxpayers are paying a record <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.timesofisrael.com\/germany-agrees-to-88-million-more-for-holocaust-survivors\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>$560<\/strong><\/span><\/a> million every year to so-called \u201cHolocaust survivors,\u201d which translates to about an extra $300 dollars every month for the beneficiaries, who number at about 225,000. In 2018, they bumped the usual yearly sum paid largely to Jews in Israel and America after accepting that Jews who spent the whole war in <em>Algeria<\/em> are \u201csurvivors\u201d too.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The eligibility for this free money is pretty open ended: if you are Jewish and lived in any country the Axis powers ever had a presence in during World War II, you get paid. The asset limit is $500,000 to apply.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Advocating for a Germany that puts Germans first is illegal under the constitution the Allies imposed.
