Hours after Britain\u2019s most senior Jewish leader warned that a \u201cpoison had taken root\u201d in Jeremy Corbyn\u2019s Labour Party his remarks were indirectly endorsed by the head of the Church of England.<\/h5>\n
Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis wrote in the Times on Tuesday Nov 26, that: “A new poison sanctioned from the top has taken root in the Labour Party”.<\/h5>\n

Strong words but later the same day the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, the Church of England\u2019s most senior prelate tweeted in support:<\/h5>\n
That the Chief Rabbi should be compelled to make such an unprecedented statement at this time ought to alert us to the deep sense of insecurity and fear felt by many British Jews: (Twitter<\/span><\/a>)<\/h5>\n
However, Justin Welby may not be the most impartial judge on the matter. Although not widely publicised, Justin Welby\u2019s father was Jewish<\/span><\/a>, which makes the archbishop himself half-Jewish.<\/h5>\n
Of course, in itself being half-Jewish may mean nothing but as Henry Makow has pointed out there are many signs in Welby\u2019s background<\/span><\/a> to suggest that he is a full-blown Illuminati shill. That being the case we would suggest that pronouncements from the Church of England should viewed in the same light as though coming from Downing Street, the Vatican, the EU parliament or the White House: i.e. with a degree scepticism caution. The archbishop of Canterbury has in effect backed the chief rabbi\u2019s comments on the Labour leadership\u2019s record on antisemitism<\/a><\/strong> with a tweet highlighting the \u201cdeep sense of insecurity and fear felt by many British Jews\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Justin Welby<\/strong><\/span><\/a> does not explicitly refer to the Labour party, but his intervention a few hours after the chief rabbi\u2019s excoriating public criticism of Jeremy Corbyn is significant.<\/span><\/p>\n

In an article in the Times<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, Ephraim Mirvis, Britain\u2019s most senior Jewish leader, accused Corbyn of allowing a \u201cpoison sanctioned from the top\u201d to take root in the party, saying the way the Labour leadership had dealt with anti-Jewish racism was \u201cincompatible with the British values of which we are so proud \u2013 of dignity and respect for all people\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Welby posted on Twitter<\/strong><\/span><\/a>: \u201cThat the chief rabbi should be compelled to make such an unprecedented statement at this time ought to alert us to the deep sense of insecurity and fear felt by many British Jews.
