Click to enlarge<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Farrow <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2019\/11\/02\/ronan-farrow-revisiting-juanita-broaddrick-rape-accusation-bill-clinton\/\">told Maher<\/a><\/strong><\/span> that Clinton\u2019s alleged victim, <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2018\/12\/13\/juanita-broaddrick-76-birthday-wish-bill-hillary-clinton-prison\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Juanita Broaddrick<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, \u201ccredibly\u201d accused the former president of rape and that the <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2018\/09\/21\/juanita-broaddrick-testify-kavanaugh\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>accusation<\/strong><\/span><\/a> was \u201coverdue for revisiting.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201cI am heartened by the fact that people routinely express outrage over Bill Clinton and particularly those more serious allegations about him,\u201d Farrow said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Following the Farrow\u2019s comments, the Daily Caller News Foundation reached out to multiple advisors and former administration officials in the Clinton administration who have expressed support for the #MeToo movement to ask their thoughts on Farrow\u2019s comments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">But none of the officials provided comment.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">George Stephanopoulos<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">George Stephanopoulos, Clinton\u2019s former White House Communications Director, declined to comment about Farrow\u2019s remarks, despite voicing support for the #MeToo movement in the past.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The Los Angeles Times asked him about the #MeToo movement in relation to Clinton <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/entertainment\/tv\/la-et-st-stephanopoulos-abc-midterms-20181105-story.html?_amp=true\">in a 2018 interview<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, and Stephanopoulos, an ABC anchor, suggested that he supports the movement and those who have been victims of sexual assault.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The first question broached about the topic focused on Stephanopoulos\u2019 \u201ccounterparts\u201d being fired after sexual assault allegations. Both NBC host Matt Lauer and CBS host Charlie Rose were both fired in 2017 over such accusations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201cAt the same time, what happened was serious, and you\u2019re seeing people you know go through something challenging, and in these cases it certainly seemed deserved,\u201d Stephanopoulos said. \u201cIt makes you conscious of how these positions are both precarious and sinecures at the same time. Once you\u2019re known to the morning audience.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Stephanopoulos was then asked about the #MeToo movement and how it relates retroactivity to the numerous allegations made against Clinton.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201cIn the right-wing media now any time I say something about #MeToo, it\u2019s, \u2018Well, but what about Bill Clinton?\u2019 And they forget, or choose to ignore the fact, that I was one of the most prominent people who came out and said, \u2018This is not OK.\u2019 In writing,\u201d Stephanopoulos replied.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Clinton administration\u2019s former White House Chief of Staff<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">John Podesta, Clinton\u2019s White House chief of staff, did not respond to multiple requests for comment asking his take on Farrow\u2019s commentary. Podesta also worked as Hillary Clinton\u2019s chairman during her 2016 presidential campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Podesta founded The Center for American Progress in 2oo3, a nonprofit that pushes \u201cbold, progressive ideas, as well as strong leadership and concerted action.\u201d The nonprofit has voiced support for the #MeToo movement in the past, detailing ways to <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.americanprogress.org\/issues\/women\/news\/2018\/10\/26\/460047\/advancing-metoo-post-kavanaugh-confirmation-world\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>advance the movement<\/strong><\/span><\/a> in 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Hillary and Chelsea Clinton<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div id=\"attachment_159689\" style=\"width: 458px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/WeinsteinClinton-640x480.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-159689\" class=\"wp-image-159689 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/WeinsteinClinton-640x480.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"448\" height=\"336\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-159689\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Harvey Weinstein with Hillary Clinton<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Two of the biggest supporters of the #MeToo movement are Bill Clinton\u2019s wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and their daughter, Chelsea Clinton. Dershowitz, who helped secure a \u201cnon-prosecution agreement\u201d for the now-deceased alleged child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein in 2005, protested against the investigation into Bill Clinton in his 1998 book <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2oHKcs2\">\u201c<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Sexual McCarthyism<\/strong><\/span>.\u201d<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Despite actively advocating for Bill Clinton in the past, Dershowitz has remained silent on this new appeal to revisit rape allegations against the former president.
