His associates, many hanging out with Epstein\u00a0after his 2008 conviction for soliciting prostitution from a minor (which he likened to “stealing a bagel”),\u00a0include Bill Clinton,\u00a0Kevin Spacey, Les Wexner<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, Prince Andrew<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and Ehud Barak<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.It also includes\u00a0Bill Gates<\/strong>, who claimed last month that he didn’t have a “business relationship or friendship” with Epstein, and only “met him.”<\/span><\/p>\n Click to enlarge<\/p><\/div>\n According to the\u00a0New York Times<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a>, however,\u00a0Gates and Epstein met at least\u00a0<\/strong>six times<\/u><\/strong><\/em>, including visits to Epstein’s New York mansion on ‘multiple occasions,’\u00a0<\/strong>staying at least once into the night.<\/span><\/p>\n Later that spring,\u00a0on May 3, 2011, Mr. Gates again visited Mr. Epstein at his New York mansion, according to emails about the meeting and a photograph reviewed by The Times.<\/span><\/p>\n The photo, taken in Mr. Epstein\u2019s marble-clad entrance hall, shows a beaming Mr. Epstein \u2014 in blue-and-gold slippers and a fleece decorated with an American flag \u2014 flanked by luminaries. On his right: James E. Staley, at the time a senior JPMorgan executive, and former Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers.<\/strong> On his left: Mr. Nikolic and Mr. Gates, smiling and wearing gray slacks and a navy sweater<\/strong>. –New York Times<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n Curiously, Gates adviser Boris Nikolic (pictured above) was named as a fallback executor in an will Epstein amended days before his August 10 death in a Manhattan jail cell.<\/span><\/p>\n In a 2011 email to colleagues, Gates wrote: “His lifestyle is very different and kind of intriguing although it would not work for me<\/strong>.”<\/span><\/p>\n A spokeswoman or Gates, Bridgitt Arnold, said he “was referring only to the unique d\u00e9cor of the Epstein residence \u2014 and Epstein\u2019s habit of spontaneously bringing acquaintances in to meet Mr. Gates,” adding “It was in no way meant to convey a sense of interest or approval.”\u00a0Perhaps Gates was taken aback by Epstein’s “main hallway that was covered with\u00a0rows of artificial eyeballs<\/u>\u00a0from England that had been made for wounded soldiers<\/strong>” (per the\u00a0Daily Mail<\/strong><\/span><\/a>)<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n Also contradicting Gates’ distancing are flight records, which reveal\u00a0that “Gates flew with Epstein from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey to Palm Beach on March 1, 2013<\/u><\/strong>,” on Epstein’s private jet – “one of the few flights that year where pilot Larry Viskoski recorded the name of a passenger,”According to the\u00a0Daily Mail<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Gates now claims that he wasn’t aware it was Epstein’s plane!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n In March 2013, Mr. Gates flew on Mr. Epstein\u2019s Gulfstream plane from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey to Palm Beach, Fla., according to a flight manifest. Ms. Arnold said Mr. Gates \u2014 who has his own $40 million jet \u2014 hadn\u2019t been aware it was Mr. Epstein\u2019s plane<\/strong>.\u00a0–New York Times<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Bill Gates\u2019s spokeswoman spent two months saying Gates barely knew Jeffrey Epstein.
