Click to enlarge<\/p><\/div>\n<h3>In Brief<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The Facts:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Retired USAF lieutenant colonel\u00a0Karen Kwiatkowski\u00a0writes in an article posted at Lew Rockwell\u2019s website that\u00a0Julian Assange\u00a0is receiving the same treatment as suspected terrorists while in captivity at \u201cHer Majesty\u2019s Prison Service\u201d at Belmarsh.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Reflect On:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Why has the mainstream media been silent regarding the treatment of Julian Assange? Why do they just slander him and not tell the truth about what&#8217;s really happening, and why he was taken?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">JFK\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zdMbmdFOvTs\">warned<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>the citizenry about\u00a0<em>\u201can announced need for increased security\u201d<\/em>\u00a0that would be\u00a0<em>\u201cseized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment.\u201d<\/em> Today, this is known as \u201cnational security,\u201d and it\u2019s a term used to justify unethical and enormous amounts of secrecy that do not protect the public, but protect those in power and their corporate, financial and political interests. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">This is exactly what Julian Assange did, and many others have and are doing, like independent alternative media outlets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Transparency is what Julian Assange was all about, and the American empire, or more so the global empire, has been desperate to keep its secrets and prosecute anyone or anything that threatens their secrecy. That\u2019s what this is all about. And they proved that with Chelsea Manning.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">It\u2019s not just people like Assange who are being demonized and hunted, it\u2019s alternative media as well. The war on \u2018fake news\u2019 that\u2019s been happening for the last little while has\u00a0forced alternative media outlets that are presenting credible information\u00a0to be deemed as \u2018fake.\u2019 Any media outlet who even questions a controversial issue has been made out to be \u2018wrong\u2019 or \u2018fake.\u2019 Who has been hired to do this work? One example is news browser extension NewsGuard, which promises to help readers pick out fake news. However, NewsGuard is funded and run by individuals tied to the CFR, Atlantic Council, and other prominent elite figures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Below is a tweet from\u00a0Australian journalist and BAFTA award-winning documentary filmmaker John Pilger, who made comments last month that shed some light on how Assange is being treated.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Do not forget Julian <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Assange?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Assange<\/a>. Or you will lose him. <br \/>I saw him in Belmarsh prison and his health has deteriorated. Treated worse than a murderer, he is isolated, medicated and denied the tools to fight the bogus charges of a US extradition. I now fear for him. Do not forget him.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; John Pilger (@johnpilger) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/johnpilger\/status\/1159101209971761152?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 7, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Assange Tortured with Psychotropic Drug?<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">I recently came across <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lewrockwell.com\/2019\/05\/karen-kwiatkowski\/pray-and-weep\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>a post<\/strong><\/span><\/a> written a few months ago by\u00a0Karen Kwiatkowski.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The FBI, Pentagon, and CIA are \u201cinterviewing\u201d Assange. Kwiatkowski writes:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><em>Interviewing is the wrong word.<\/em><em>\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><em>I\u2019d like to say doctoring him, because it would be more accurate, except that word implies some care for a positive outcome.<\/em><em>\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><em>Chemical Gina has her hands in this one, and we are being told that Assange is being \u201ctreated\u201d with 3-quinuclidinyl benzilate, known as BZ.<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">BZ is a powerful drug that produces hallucinations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201cSoldiers on BZ could remember only fragments of the experience afterward. As the drug wore off, and the subjects had trouble discerning what was real, many experienced anxiety, aggression, even terror,\u201d the New Yorker reported. \u201c\u2026The drug\u2019s effect lasted for days. At its peak, volunteers were totally cut off in their own minds, jolting from one fragmented existence to the next. They saw visions: Lilliputian baseball players competing on a tabletop diamond; animals or people or objects that materialized and vanished.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">She goes on:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">It is difficult to know if the state is more sociopathic or more psychopathic.\u00a0 What US government employees and\/or contractors are currently doing to Julian Assange, and those who may have used Wikileaks as a journalistic avenue, may indicate it is the latter.\u00a0 Torture, isolation, brutality, and the use of psychotropic drugs during interrogations and hiding this from the defendant\u2019s own lawyers by denying them access \u2014 this is\u00a0<a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/archives\/la-xpm-1991-09-07-mn-1571-story.html\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Lubyanka<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0in the 1950s, not London and DC in 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Allow me to get to the point.\u00a0 The latest word I have received from England is as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201c[Julian Assange] is presently under close observation in prison hospital because he has suffered \u2018severe transient psychotic episodes.\u2019 My source(s) indicate these episodes occurred after two sessions of coercive interrogation at the hands of UK and US officials. The source(s) stated the HUMINT interrogators used psychotropic drugs in the course of the sessions.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">There are no words.\u00a0 Nothing can be said.\u00a0 2 plus 2 does equal 5.\u00a0 The FBI is our own special Cheka.\u00a0 The CIA Director\u2019s hands are wet and her organization does not serve American values.\u00a0 Rather than choosing to stay secretive for national security, the modern CIA must stay secretive in order to survive, because it has become functionally illegal.\u00a0 Our president, who puts America first, is putting American values last, even as\u00a0<a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realDonaldTrump\/status\/302530722453921793\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>he tweets his concern for freedom of speech<\/strong><\/span>.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The agenda is to destroy Assange as a human being, and they may well succeed.\u00a0 In doing this evil deed, in all of our names, America herself \u2013 whether we put her first, last, or somewhere in the middle \u2013 will have dug her own grave.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">I came across an interesting post by activist Greg Bean. In it, he brings up Johannes Gutenberg, the man who first introduced the printing press to the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.michaelwest.com.au\/media-dead-silent-as-wikileaks-insider-explodes-the-myths-around-julian-assange\/?fbclid=IwAR3BvO8nYc53WccMLaTkAqFqi4TNn6ZGHWka6sjbWbGX7clhpSLIHTPWCtE\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>He writes<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>about how that single act created a free press, which gave birth to the concept of freedom of speech, and how the two are \u201cinextricably linked; printing is a form of speech.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The broad circulation of information, including revolutionary ideas, in many languages, undermined Latin\u2019s dominant status and the authority previously held by those trained in Latin, it transcended borders, threatened the power of political and religious authorities, increased literacy breaking the monopoly of the literate elite on education and learning, and bolstered the emerging middle class. It increased cultural self-awareness and cultural cohesion and undermined the authority of distant rulers and high priests.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">WikiLeaks\u2019 threat to the powerful was recognised and every effort was, and is, being made to criminalise anonymous leaking, which would be akin to criminalizing Gutenberg\u2019s printing press, but there is not much chance this criminalisation will succeed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">I suggest you read the full piece as it makes some very interesting points.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">The Takeaway<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">What you read here is no surprise, for a long time Julian Assange was allowed no visitors, and now, it\u2019s quite clear why. Those who have had access to visits have made it quite clear that he is in very poor health.
