{"id":195153,"date":"2019-09-22T07:24:09","date_gmt":"2019-09-22T07:24:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=195153"},"modified":"2019-09-25T05:01:18","modified_gmt":"2019-09-25T05:01:18","slug":"black-conservative-candace-owens-says-white-supremacy-is-not-a-problem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=195153","title":{"rendered":"Black conservative Candace Owens says &#8216;white supremacy&#8217; is not a problem"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">Lauren Edmonds \u2013 Daily Mail Sept 21, 2019<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><strong>\u00a0Candace Owens testified during a hearing about white nationalism that\u00a0&#8216;white supremacy and white nationalism are not a problem for minorities<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><strong>She listed issues like abortion and father absence in the home as more worthy of lawmakers time<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><strong>These remarks come one month after the El Paso shooting, where a white nationalist targeted Mexicans\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><strong>\u00a0The Anti-Defamation League&#8217;s Center on Extremism reported that white nationalist made up &#8217;59 percent of all extremist-related fatalities in the U.S. in 2017&#8242;<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Candace-Owens.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-195156\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Candace-Owens.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"340\" height=\"192\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Candace-Owens.jpg 634w, https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Candace-Owens-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 340px) 100vw, 340px\" \/><\/a>Black conservative activist Candace Owens told Congress that white nationalism and white supremacy are not a problem for minorities in America.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Owens was invited to testify in front of the House Oversight Joint Subcommittee on Friday to discuss combating white supremacy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">She said:\u00a0&#8216;If we&#8217;re going to have a hearing on white supremacy, we are assuming that the biggest victims of that are minority Americans and presumably this hearing would be to stop that and preserve the lives of minority Americans.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">&#8216;Which based on the hierarchy of what&#8217;s impacting minority Americans, if I had to make a list of 100 things, white nationalism would not make the list.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Owens then proceeds to list issues she believes are more immediately pressing, including black on black crime, abortion, illegal immigration and the democrats attack on masculinity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">&#8216;We don&#8217;t see hearings on those bigger issues..the inner city communities which is a huge issue, black on black crime. The\u00a0breakdown of the family I think is the number one thing contributing to that,&#8217; she said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">&#8216;We never hear anyone talking about what happens when you remove a father from the home. In fact, I would argue that right now we have a social\u00a0environment that is hostile towards men.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Later during the hearing Owens summarized her position on the matter by saying: &#8216;White supremacy and white nationalism is not a problem that is harming black America.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Rep.
