The Washington Post reported\u00a0that Bolton was not invited to a high-profile meeting\u00a0after opposing diplomatic efforts in the region. The Post\u00a0reported that his opposition bothered Trump.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201cSimply put, many of Bolton\u2019s policy priorities did not align with POTUS,\u201d a White House official told Fox News on Tuesday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/trump-fires-national-security-advisor-john-bolton-over-disagreements-on-key-policy-matters\">Continues \u2026<\/a><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">Comment &#8212; Sept 10, 2019<\/h1>\n<h5>Bolton was a well-known hawk who has been pushing relentlessly for some sort of U.S. strike on Iran. That may not happen now and we would suggest Trump\u2019s decision to replace Bolton largely boils down to disagreement over that one key issue.<\/h5>\n<h5>Bolton\u2019s removal follows hard on the heels of a meeting Trump had with his military commanders in the aftermath of Iran downing a U.S. Global Hawk drone.<\/h5>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=194315\"><span style=\"color: #ffff00;\">According to some reports<\/span><\/a> his military commanders dissuaded Trump from ordering a retaliatory strike on Iran. The consequences, they warned, could have been catastrophic and Trump seems to have listened and relieved himself of one of the loudest advocates for war with Iran.
