Click to enlarge<\/p><\/div>\n<h5>Anti-Semitic fliers saying that Jews and Israel were behind the 9\/11 attacks appeared in Northern California about 30 miles from San Francisco.<\/h5>\n<h5>The fliers discovered last weekend in Novato, a city of about 52,000 in the North Bay area, were plastered on telephone poles, storefronts and a high school campus. They said <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #ffff00;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ffff00; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.todayscatholicworld.com\/mossad-agents-911.htm\">Israelis were seen dancing<\/a><\/strong><\/span> on the site of the collapsed Twin Towers, that a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2008\/03\/27\/nyregion\/27rebuild.html\"><span style=\"color: #ffff00;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Jewish-Israeli man made billions in insurance money<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/a> and that Israeli Prime Minister <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.todayscatholicworld.com\/mossad-agents-911.htm\"><span style=\"color: #ffff00; text-decoration: underline;\">Benjamin Netanyahu praised the attacks<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>. Ed.)<\/h5>\n<h5>At the bottom of the page it says, \u201cWake up USA!\u201d<\/h5>\n<h5>Police Chief Adam McGill urged citizens to \u201cstand up to hate,\u201d but told the Marin Independent Journal that the fliers are protected by the First Amendment and there would be no investigation. No group has claimed responsibility for them.<\/h5>\n<h5>Mayor Eric Lucan joined McGill in condemning the fliers, saying \u201cthere is no room for this type of hate speech\u201d in Novato.<\/h5>\n<h5>They were reported seen on a downtown Novato Safeway and on the campus of San Marin High School, according to the Journal.<\/h5>\n<h5>Nancy Appel, senior associate regional director of the Anti-Defamation League\u2019s Central Pacific Region, said her office received multiple calls about the incident.<\/h5>\n<h5>\u201cThese are hoary old stereotypes about 9\/11.
