Now she&#8217;s under SIEGE from hackers, media, trolls"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">Hide Out \u2013 July 2019<\/h1>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GS92jiD7BrA\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Republican strategist, Baltimore activist, and political commentator Kimberly Klacik is under siege Sunday after she shared video on Fox News Saturday morning showing the conditions in an area of Baltimore within Elijah Cummings&#8217; congressional district.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The deplorable conditions she showed, and the segment&#8217;s framing &#8211; which characterized the state of Cummings district as far more unlivable and objectionable than those at border detention facilities against which Cummings recently raged &#8212; inspired the Trump tweet thread that has dominated the news ever since.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Despite Klacik being Baltimore-based, not to mention that she&#8217;s a woman of color, as the media would put it were she a Democrat, the left is going after her. So much for those woke sensibilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">As punishment for her showing actual video from the district in question, the press, hackers, and everyday trolls are after Klacik, she explained via Twitter, and in force. On Saturday afternoon, she wrote that there appeared to be an effort to publish a &#8220;hit piece&#8221; about her, meant to harm her or her reputation.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">So I am receiving calls that reporters are working on a hit piece on me. It is truly disappointing. Residents asked if I could help get the trash removed. I filmed it, posted it. I&#39;ve received countless emails, calls &amp; text claiming my &quot;hit piece&quot; is on the way. If this is the Left&#39;s attempt to silence me, it only makes me want to fight harder for what is right. Intimidating a black woman just for speaking out? Residents constantly call the city to report illegal dumping, cries fall on deaf ears. Many point out this would never happen at the Baltimore Inner Harbor. It&#8217;s one that has been remarked upon by liberal and conservative politicians alike, and has been written about by the mainstream press for years. The problems in Baltimore are real, the conditions in the areas she visited are appalling.
