She woke Shams and tried not to stress her, fearing for the unborn baby\u2026 they fled the house and hid themselves among the exposed buildings and caves of Shrehi while ISIS entered the house just below them, murdering all their neighbours who were inside.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Salha\u2019s son Mu\u2019taz had been martyred in Daraa, in 2012. He was 22 years old, another young life sacrificed for his homeland, defending his country against international terrorism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">His comrades had left him, mortally wounded, bleeding out from a stomach wound. They went to get help. While they were gone, Mu\u2019taz wrote on the barrel of his gun with his own blood:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201cThis is for Syria, for my homeland\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Mu\u2019taz died before they could treat him in hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Mu\u2019taz\u2019 final message to his mother was\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201cTell my mother, dont be sad, dont cry, the dignity of Syria is our most precious gift, no sacrifice is too great for our mother Syria.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Mu\u2019taz had also sent his mother a message five days before he was martyred.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Salha told me he must have known he would be killed. She told me she is illiterate, she can\u2019t read so she asked his comrades to put his words on his photograph and to read it to her as often as possible so she would not\u00a0forget his last message to her.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_20190629_111657.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-192098\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_20190629_111657-768x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_20190629_111657-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_20190629_111657-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_20190629_111657-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">This is what Mu\u2019taz wrote for his mother.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201cMum<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">If I am martyred<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">I urge you to receive me with ululations and a smile before you say goodbye to me.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">I don\u2019t want you to wear mourning for me<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">or cry for me, because that will hurt me<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">My friends will carry me like groom in his expensive white suit.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">My coffin would be of saffron and dewy flowers<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">My grave would be between an olive tree and a fig tree<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">To make me comfortable to bring me rest<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">And may peace embrace my grave<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">I ask you in the name of God<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Put a Quran under my head, a photo of Bashar al Assad on my chest.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">And please, my gun must remain in my right hand.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Salha wept on film when she recalled the tragic events in July 2018 and the loss of her precious son but she also broke into a beautiful smile when speaking of Mu\u2019taz sacrifice for Syria, for Humanity. The light that shone in her face came from a soul that has faced suffering and horror yet still converted it into hope.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Here is her moving interview in the video.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Taken from her simple but poignant words:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201cThe Syrian Arab Army, may God grant them victory, victory for our country.. because without our Army\u2026 our Army is from the people for the people, they are the ones protecting our homeland. Without them we would have been defeated.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">We can sleep at night while the Army is protecting our land and honour and dignity. Dignity is the most important for us. May God protect the Syrian Arab Army.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Oh Syria, stand up and beautify yourself. Remove your burdens. God bless your President, your Army and your men. For you, Syria, we sacrificed our precious martyrs.
