{"id":190537,"date":"2019-06-26T05:53:22","date_gmt":"2019-06-26T05:53:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=190537"},"modified":"2019-06-29T05:55:18","modified_gmt":"2019-06-29T05:55:18","slug":"spying-police-robots-daleks-coming-to-a-city-near-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=190537","title":{"rendered":"Spying Police Robots (Daleks) Coming To A City Near You"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">By <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blogger.com\/profile\/15982621761828835823\">MassPrivateI<\/a> \u2013 Activist Post June 25, 2019<\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Six years ago, I predicted that Knightscope robots (Daleks) might\u00a0<a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/massprivatei.blogspot.com\/2013\/12\/daleks-coming-to-school-near-you-may.html\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>replace police officers<\/strong><\/span>,<\/a> and it appears that I was right.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/k5-robot.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-162689\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/k5-robot.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"280\" height=\"280\" \/><\/a><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">According to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/losangeles.cbslocal.com\/2019\/06\/19\/robocop-patrol-huntington-park\/\"><em>CBS Los Angeles<\/em><\/a><\/strong><\/span>, the Huntington Park Police Department is using a <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.knightscope.com\/knightscope-k5\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Knightscope K5 <\/strong><\/span><\/a>robot to patrol public areas like parks and city buildings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The Huntington Park Police robot, dubbed \u201cHP Robocop\u201d comes\u00a0equipped with 360-degree high-definition cameras that\u00a0allow police officers to spy on people in public places.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">According to <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/ktla.com\/2019\/06\/17\/huntington-park-police-to-deploy-robocop-to-monitor-public-areas\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>KTLA 5<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, Mayor Karina Macias is very excited to have police robots spy on people,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><strong>I\u2019m very excited that we can officially call on HP RoboCop to help our police officers patrol our city, I am certainly impressed with HP RoboCop and can\u2019t wait to see it in action. I\u2019m already a big fan!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Y2dcR32yaK4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">And why shouldn\u2019t she be excited?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The Knightscope 5 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.knightscope.com\/knightscope-k5\">website<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0makes no effort to hide the fact that their robots are designed to spy on people in public places such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Malls,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Corporate Campuses,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Logistics Facilities Manufacturing Plants,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Commercial Property Warehouses,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Hospitals,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Airports,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Casinos,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Stadiums,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Gas Stations,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Data Centers, Auto Auctions,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">and Parking Structures<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Police will also use Robocop\u2019s thermal imaging cameras to spy on everyone and blacklist or whitelist cars and people.<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">That\u2019s because Knightscope\u2019s K5 comes equipped with \u201cquad automatic license plate recognition that whitelist, blacklist, excluded and unknown plates.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Robocop and <a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/massprivatei.blogspot.com\/2019\/05\/police-to-use-tsa-style-scanners-to-spy.html\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>public TSA-style scanners<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0are an Orweillian nightmare.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">I wish I could tell you that this is the end of this story but I cannot.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">According to an <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yourcentralvalley.com\/news\/crime-fighting-robot-deployed\/\">article<\/a><\/strong><\/span> in <em>Your Central Valley<\/em>, the\u00a0HP RoboCop or Dalek, \u201cwill be able to roll down sidewalks and recite phrases to members of the public, such as excuse me and good day to you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">If you are a <em>Doctor Who<\/em> fan like myself, you know that one of the more ominous phrases that Dalek\u2019s use is \u201call\u00a0inferior creatures are to be considered the enemy of the Daleks, and destroyed.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><strong>If you were to change a few of those words, it gives a whole new meaning to Big Brother\u2019s Robocop,\u00a0\u201call citizens are considered suspicious\u00a0and enemies of the State and will be detained.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">How long will it be before police officers use Robocop to intimidate the public or use robots to\u00a0<a style=\"color: #ccffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/video\/traffic-robot-could-write-tickets\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>detain you in your car<\/strong><\/span><\/a>?
